What's Good: The following suggestion for improvement of Fortune Resort Hotel 1. LED TV are required to be installed instead of old one 2. Bathroom is very small 3 Chairs placed in the balcony required to be replaced with comfortable one. 4. voice of the persons stayed in the adjacent room are clearly audible. This should be look immediately.

What's Good: Staff was extremely courteous and friendly. But the room itself was pretty small, especially the bathrooms. Plus, the bathroom was tiled with smooth tiles which made it very slippery. A slippery bathroom coupled with a small size is an accident waiting to happen - didn't expect this from a supposedly 4-star hotel. For food, hotel was the main option - there was nothing nearby or one we would have wanted to go to. Buffet was expensive though nothing to write home about, so no value for money there. Extremely poor WiFi connectivity, but we were told that was all over Andamans. Don't want to sound all negative - despite the disappointments mentioned above, extremely friendly hotel staff made up for all its flaws and we ended up having a pleasant stay.

We visited fortune resorts on 25th August 2018 ...i dont have words to express my views for this resort ...not only food and services and view but the kind of support i got from the resort staff when i lost my precious diamond bracelet which i finally found back. I am very thankful to the staff of fortune resorts and specially to Ms. Georcia who helped me beyond her duty. A lovely and must visit place...........KIRTI CHUGH.

Visited fortune resort bay Island in the evening with my friends for drinks. Nico bar is amazing place with a view overlooking the sea. Guy in the bar was very helpful and drinks was fine. But the restaurant experience was really bad. Food came very late and taste was not good. Would recommend poeple to visit Nicobar to spend an evening but cant say same with the restaurant.

Visited this place as a solo traveller this needed a good hotel. However this hotel turned out to be an average place. At the time of check in lobby restrooms were dirty and no one showed any urgency upon guest feedback. Internet never works here. Rooms are small and average sorts. Balconys are super small. Food was average again. The only saving grace in entire place was Nico Bar and its staff they were quite helpful and genuinely wanted to assist the guest. Lady singer was good too.

I stayed at the Fortune Resort for two nights on the way to and from Havelock. It's supposedly the best hotel in Port Blair. My rating reflects how it compares to other hotels elsewhere but I can believe that it might indeed be the best in Port Blair. What I'll remember most favorably about this hotel is the staff. The ladies at checkin are slightly frosty, but everywhere else the staff are really friendly and helpful -- especially so at the restaurant. At the restaurant, the Indian dishes are quite good, but the western and Chinese dishes we tried were mediocre, perhaps unsurprising given the location. The breakfast buffet was also good, but avoid the chicken sausage unless you like the mushy chicken goo that's in them. (This may not have been the fault of the restaurant, as I don't know where the sausage is made.) The property is clean and perfectly adequate for a day in transit. The bathrooms are good and some of the rooms have a nice view. If you're there with anyone that doesn't like climbing stairs, be aware that they're unavoidable here no matter what room you're in. The hotel is built into a hillside and you may get tired going up and back down just to get to the restaurant. I'm not sure if this weird arrangement is because they have one wing undergoing some construction, or if the layout of the hotel really is this bizarre. Another minor annoyance while I was there is that the power failed for a 1-2 minutes every hour or two. I have no idea what caused that ... The power lapses are fine during the day, but a little annoying at night because the A/C beeps when the power comes back on. I'm a light sleeper so I kept getting woken up.
