This was possibly the worst hotel we've stayed at. Since there was nothing good to mention about the place, I've only listed the problems. 1. Our biggest problem was that they do NOT have power back-up. Sometime during the night, there was a power outage. So we had to sleep without the fan and air conditioner. This also meant there was no water in the bathroom! The receptionist turned on water in the morning after we went and complained. Fortunately, the sun was up and we had sunlight from the tiny window. Otherwise we would have had to rely on our phone flashlights to get ready, pack and leave. 2. The location of the hotel is poor. If you're relying on local transport, autos and buses are hard to find here. Also, nowhere on the boards outside the hotel does it mention OYO. You'll have to find it by its name. 3. The hotel has a bar (seems to be a separate entity) on the ground floor. When we came back to the hotel after dinner, we did not like the crowd we had to pass to go upstairs to the hotel. 4. When we went to inform the receptionist around 9.30pm that we'll be checking out early in the morning, he was settling down for drinks with two more people. 5. We relied on reviews and pictures online which seemed good. Unfortunately, the rooms are a lot smaller than they look in the pics. There's limited moving space in the room. The bed sheet and blankets were rather gross. 6. There is no elevator. And surely the narrow set of stairs has to be a fire hazard. Wonder why that's been happily overlooked. Would certainly not recommend this place. You will be better off staying elsewhere.

All the hotels in Port Blair were booked when we decided to visit. We stayed at the hotel for a night. Rooms aren't exactly luxury, neither is the location or ambience. Service, though, was top notch. Every helped that I asked for I received promptly and the stay was made pleasant by that very fact.

We booked our room through Hotels.com as we needed a place to stay after leaving Havelock. While the pictures look good online, I would not recommend a stay at this property. Pros: Comfortable mattress Super strong AC Cons: No AC controls to heighten temperature Bathroom floor was perpetually wet as the shower tap dripped Bird poop on the wall below the bathroom window No top sheet to bed, only fuzzy blanket (rather gross) Mouse in the store room outside our bedroom Wifi only works in lobby Overall, it seems that this property has been run down and poorly maintained. Guess you get what you pay for.
