What's Good: Jadhavgadh fort has very beautiful garden, 300 years old ganpati temple, play area and museum. Also I like the swings which were tied to the tamarind tree branch.
What needs to improve : 1 km road approahing to the fort is very poor quality.
Reason For Rating : Jadhavgadh fort stay was really amazing. Food and hospitality is also good. Only the 1 km reaching road for the fort is not good.

What's Good: Its very well preserved Heritage Property
Reason For Rating : 1. When you say fruit basket dont just place 2 apples. 2. The shower blockage needs to be cleaned as water flow is too slow. 3. Atleast inform the guests before check in that room service not available in tents. We had to upgrade paying extra 2000/- 4. Train the service staff to inform guests of the final order at your restaurant.

What's Good: The very idea of living in a fort and the ambience within - temple, lawns, lake and activities for guests which ensure that you are always occupied!
What needs to improve : Everything in place.. Nothing to dislike. However, would like it if there were some lights at night while walking on the steps in the lawn (which lead to the temple). Had a bad fall there as it was dark.
Reason For Rating : Great prices courtesy online discounts and comfortable booking procedures.

What's Good: Fort Jadhavgard defines Grandiosity! Spacious well maintained rooms, located along the foothills with large luscious green yellow lawns, well maintained, luxury swimming pool, breathtaking views, lots of activities at offer. Overall a complete package. Get ready to witness a huge change in experience from the otherwise 4/5 star hotels in the cities.
What needs to improve : Still scope for improvement in terms of activities like archery / rifle shooting.
by Sujeet on Jun 12,2017
What's Good: The stay gives the feel of a historic place. Food was good. Overall experience was refreshing.
What needs to improve : The cost is on higher side, can be a little less. Being a Maratha heritage, Maharashtrian cuisine can add to the experience.

What's Good: Concept ,location & cleanliness.
What needs to improve : Restaurant needs lot of improvement . Lack of tables & staff . Staff is really very less compare to number of guests.
by JOYDEEP on May 14,2017
What's Good: Hospitality, Vast expanse of property
What needs to improve : In room facilities are worse than double star resort. The shower did not function, AC malfunctioned, no in-room dining facility are few of the inconveniences.

by guest Bhutada on Dec 15,2014
What's Good: You had mentioned 11am checkout whereas hotel staff insisted on 10am. Please correct it. I am not exaggerating. It tends to spoil a nice vacation because you get rushed through at the end.

What's Good: Great place and hospitality. Wish I could say the same about food - it was a big disappointment. Otherwise, we had a great experience

We visited Fort Jadhavgadh to celebrate our anniversary. The reason we chose this was it's very close proximity to Pune and can be reached in less than 1 hour drive. Though the road to the fort is not well paved, we were mesmerized to see the condition of the fort. It was well maintained and very clean. The staff at the fort were ready to collect our baggage and we just needed to walk into the fort hands free. We were welcomed in traditional style into the fort and were served welcome drinks. Thanks to the express check-in we didn't need to wait at the reception for long time and got the keys to our room. The room were very spacious and could easily fit in 3-4 people but we had the room all for both of us. We were given complimentary food items like famous kanyani bakery biscuits and fruits. The one thing you don't have here is mobile internet service. Don't worry you can still make calls from your network. You can get WiFi from reception which is paid for two devices. We had lunch at Payatha restaurant. It was buffet with live music. The live music made the ambience even more vivid. The food items had lot of variety for both Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian food items. We later took a stroll around the fort and were left jaw dropped to look at the well maintained gardens and trees. There are some activities you can do in the fort like pottery, audio tour, sport activities like cricket, volleyball, archery, etc. Later in the evening there a traditional ceremony were the main door of the fort is closed for 10 minutes and the history is been told. Late in the evening we celebrated our anniversary at Chajja restaurant. Many thanks to the staff specially Mukesh who arranged our anniversary cake for us. It made us feel special. We left the fort the next day after having our breakfast which was a buffet. The check out process was smooth and happened within couple of minutes. We left the fort with many memories. Thanks to Dr. Kamat and his staff for maintaining the fort and providing such great hospitality. Would definitely recommend the readers to visit the fort and stay to have a wonderful experience. Thanks!

Fort Jadhavgadh is a relatively new hotel. The small fort, located outside Pune, was converted into a luxury hotel and is a preferred place for picnics, photo shoots and wedding celebrations. The drive to here from the city via Dive Ghat is beautiful till one leaves the main road or the last 1.5 km stretch. The road was extremely narrow and non-existent in many places. No two vehicles can pass. After a rather bumpy ride, we reached the fort. We were welcomed with the traditional Maharashtrian flute and nagada, which was a nice touch. Inside, there are stairs to climb, as one would expect within a Fort. The fort had nice rooms and they conducted a heritage tour. The tour was a let-down; there is not much to see there in the Aai Museum. That said, they had some nice activities to keep ourselves occupied. The bigger disappointment though were the restaurants. We did not really like the food on offer and not all menu options were available. We found the service in the restaurants to not be quite up to the mark either. While the hotel offers a rustic yet comfortable ambience, these issues cannot be ignored. Considering the pricing of the hotel and the fact that there is no other option for any guest till Pune city, these need to be taken care of by the management.

If you're looking for a place for a weekend or to spend some quality time with family or friends or with loved ones and you don't want to travel that much then Fort Jadhavgadh is the best option as per me. Located just outside the hadapsar the Fort jadhavgadh is a true replica of a fort which gives you that old vintage feel of living in a actual fort. About the accommodation - The rooms are clean and hygenic and trust me you won't get such clean rooms anywhere else. The rooms are very spacious and room cleaning is done very particularly without reminding them. The rooms here has everything you need from the toiletries to personal use stuff and they'll change it pretty frequently so that's a good point. Never seen this anywhere else in my experience. You'll get the better idea through the pictures. Food - Chhajja - A casual dining experience at its best. They mainly serve American , North Indian and continental cuisine. We've tried the North Indian and continental dishes and the food here is pretty good. Just you have to check the availability of the dishes before ordering because that's the only issue we faced. Paytha - Paytha is a buffet place which is something you'll love it. Peaceful environment with live music shows and lots of love counters to make your experience worth while. The food here is good but it needs bit improvement in the taste section. The varieties in buffet are more than enough but the mains section kind of goes behind in the taste section . The breakfast spread was the best thing that we had here. Filled with each everything from English breakfast to south Indian spread we tried almost all dishes. Food was upto the mark and our start of Sunday was on a positive note. The Audio tour , Swimming pool , and other activities at fort are worth doing. As I said it's a perfect destination for weekend. Overall verdict - it was indeed a pleasant stay for us and we enjoyed our time at Fort Jadhavgadh. Service can be delayed on Sundays but it's manageable. Do visit and enjoy your weekend like a Maharaja.

I visited this place with my friends for the brunch. The food was amazing with a wide spread of options. Authentic Maharashtran food including Poran poli and amazing sweets. I don't think think I have eaten so much in a long time. but the cherry on the top was definitely the service. Special thanks to Sumeet Das and his team. Sumeet was very helpful and courteous.
