Below Average Hotel
by MaheshAnand on
The hotel tag line says, 'WHERE LUXURY MEETS HAPPINESS', forget about luxury the basic and essentials itself they couldn't fulfill. Right from bath towel till restaurant food, they maintain below average quality. They claim themselves as business class hotel, but they don't have single queen bed for single occupancy, they have provided split cot which is very narrow and cramped. Room sofa/chair which is dirty and filthy with cigarette burnt holes. When I asked for non-smoking room with single bed, they promised me to give on 2nd day, but they didn't. The bath towel is several year old (attached pics). I don't know, how do they call this 'Luxury'? Other points, - Wifi connectivity is very poor and slow, even my mobile data is faster than wifi - Hotel access from main road is very poor, 300-400 meters from the main road with a narrow road, if two big cars from opposite end meets, it will be difficult to pass. I have decided, this is my first and last visit to this hotel. Attached pics of (bath towel, single seat sofa, room wall near cupboard) R.No.203 P.S: Management would give a copy & paste reply, kindly be pro-active in maintaining the quality you claim as 'Luxury meets Happiness' business class 3-star.

The rooms are nice and spacious. The location is a bit inside but the stay was worth it. The food was nice and worth the money. There is parking in the hotel but its a bit difficult to get out of the place as the parking doesn't provide too much space to maneuver the car. The bathrooms are nice and clean. However, we faced a lot of problem with the mosquitoes. Also warm water is not readily available. You need to let the water flow for 10 mins for it to begin. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Overall a nice stay.
Very basic property

I am generally a non conformist and not brand loyal, especially when it comes to hotel stays. This trait allows me to experience and review more & more properties as I travel. This time, I stayed at Hotel Mint Mont Vert. The hotel is very basic. The room is moderately spacious. Bathroom was ok too. What wasn't ok were these: 1. There is no restaurant inside the hotel, meaning you would have to Swiggy your food, especially in the nights. Now, this is fine for many but not for me. A hotel needs to have a restaurant 2. The breakfast was extremely oily and limited to 2-3 items. 3. No alcohol or bar inside the hotel...you would need to carry your own booze should you make plans to drink in the room 4. The property is a off the main road. If you were to walk it up, then beware of stray dogs chasing you in the middle of the night. Again, not something that I would like to end the day with! 5. Mosquitoes in the room. I killed several of them while sleeping late into the night, and even have pictures of them. Out of sheer lethargy I am not posting those Overall, a very baseline hotel. I did not enjoy my stay because frankly, there was nothing to do in the hotel. Its more of a large-ish guesthouse.
If you are a single occupant, ask for queen bed. Otherwise they would give split cot

Check if the taps in the sink are working properly before choosing the room.
