Location : Excellently placed resort with all the rooms having mulshi lake view which is just around 3.5hrs drive from mumbai. About the resort: Facing the mulshi lake in lap of nature they have total 12 rooms but quite a good property with clean swimming pools(kids plus adults) and ample of space for recreational activities . They have pool, table tennis, and they also provide badminton, football, monopoly, snake and ladder, chess, cycles etc. Garden area for kids to play in Sand is also quite nice. Rooms: They have all the 12 rooms of the same type. Spacious enough with nice and clean interiors. Outside sitting area facing the lake in front of each room which makes it an excellent option for friends who want to plan night out. Each room also has a single cane jhula which was my favorite. All the room facilities were up to the mark. Bone Fire can be arranged on request. Restaurant: Food as usual was a bit priced higher eg: veg sabzi were around 300 but the food was tasty. We enjoyed having the food chilling at our room. For BreakFast they had proper american BF with multiple options like poha, idilly, puri bhaji, sabudana wada etc. We also visited a near by roadside restaurant ashirwad around 3km drive towards pune which is an excellent alternative if you are ok to drive out of the resort. Overall the resort was excellent and we had a wonderful and memorable time there. Now coming to the minus: The road from mumbai to the resort is a pain. Around 15kms of the road nearing to the resort after you leave the highway is in totally bad conditions with lot of potholes. Although the road construction was on but as of now the roads are pretty bad. At the end It was worth the pain when we reached the resort looking at the lake view rooms. The 2nd major minus for us was the phone network. No Service for Airtel users at all in or nearing to 5 kms range of the resort . We were totally disconnected from the outside world. but the hotel reception did have wifi which saved us for emergency calls.

Mornings are really beautiful here as you wake up with beautiful lake view. Very refreshing. Resort is clean and well maintained. All rooms have nice interior and lake view. Rooms are spacious. The staff is very cooperative. The food is delicious. They have nice lawn and it is good for picnic and corporate outings. For kids, They also have kids play area and swimming pool. They also have sports equipment like bat, ball, rackets, volleyball etc. Snooker table and chess table are not in good condition. Overall we had wonderful and peaceful weekend. Note: The 4 way lane road is under construction. Hence last 20km road is not in good condition.

We were looking for a place to chill out at weekend and have family time! This one was just perfect. With just 12 cottages and huge property, one truly enjoys nature so close. All routes to mulshi are under construction..so kind of roller coaster ride.. At resort, Hospitality was very good. Food was good too..bit expensive though. Didn't like ducks swimming in pool... Rooms are better than they appear in pictures. And best part is this unexplored nature. In pictures, lake doesn't give that depth. But in reality you actually experience the grandeur. Instead of well knownplaces

Type of trip :- Couple Room - Good Resaturant - Good Kid friendly - Yes Everyone wishes to run away from the routine, but it doesnt come true always. But it came true this mid week. Left Mumbai early morning just to be away, destination not being fixed without any prior reservations. Thought of getting the blessings of Lord Ganesh, made us drive via Pune Expressway to Pali. After seeking the darshan planned to take the route to Pune via Mulshi & Paud. The roads have recently been tarred and are awesome. Full of ghats, scenic view, ups & downs, curvy roads and very less of traffic. If you love driving better take this road. Found rough patches at some places as work is still in progress. One of the best experience was a point where the car drives through between the rocky hills on both the sides. Took to 2 hrs to be along the Mulshi lake. There were many hotels and resorts along the way, but the only one that stopped me from moving ahead was RESIDENCY LAKE RESORT. The location is just apt, all the rooms face the lake. The resort is elevated from the Mulshi road which runs next to the lake. Ample parking space, 12 cottage rooms as what are specified on its website. As I had no bookings, the reservation did not take much time. They had plans with or without breakfast. As the weather was cool I avoided taking a dip in the pool which has both the baby & adult pools which looked clean. Pool table & table tennis were available next to the pool. Kids can enjoy playing football with available goal posts or take the slides & swings at the garden. SPA rooms are also available for variety of massages offered (no comments as not experienced). The staff lead us to our booked room was after climbing few stairs. Room amenities - Refrigerator (you could take your own beer and keep it in), AC, TV with set top box (avoid using it & enjoy the scenic view), wardrobe with safety electronic safety locker, The room was well cleaned, bed with clean pillows and cushions and bathroom with clean towels. The restaurant is just next to the reception with glass walls (to avoid insects coming in and avoid obstructing your lake view). Though they serve food in the room, try to eat in restaurant enjoying the view. You can dine on the chairs outside your room under the moonlight. They had happy hours for drinks between 1730 hrs to 1900 hrs. No smoking sign was seen inside the room, however they offer cigarettes on the Menu card. Bicycle rides are available too, but I avoided as the roads were being tarred. Most lovely feature of the room is that you could view the whole lake from the glass window (blind available) sitting on the sofa. Or on the swing available at the door for each room. Did not experience power cuts at night, maybe they have gensets. Food was really good (no comments about Non Veg) especially the rotis crispy and made of good dough. They do offer variety of cuisine (except for Pizza which I couldnt find). Next day it was time to check out. On the way you would come across farmers working on their farms and offering you to buy some veggies. Do not miss that. The veggies are fresh as they are plucked for you only & overall you would be paying farmers (helping them good amount for their efforts). Took a different route while coming back. It was via Paud Pawna lake Kamshet. The roads from resort to Paud are in construction, so the status may change with time. Paud Pawna road is single road with rough patches (but you can enjoy the scenic drive). The Pawna lake area has many campsites and resorts (on the list for next trip). Please take the route - Resort Paud - Chandni Chowk Highway. Back to struggle but charged up.
