I would not recommend this hotel to anyone..The location is good but the hotel is like a haunted house, we went there on 25th December where there is so much rush in Puri and believe me this hotel had noone, there are no proper road infront of this hotel,we were so much scared to stay in this, all doors windows are broken..no room service at all..whom they server when there is noone ..LOL..we asked them for konark sight seeing and they booked bus for us, they cheated us by taking 200 rs/- per head while the actual fare of that bus trip was 150 per head, we were shocked by knowing this once we had spoken to other passengers in bus..if they have taken 200 they should provide a bus of 200 rs/- per head as well, but no they just cheated us..you will get much much much better hotel in this rate in puri, never go for this, if your alone or have small family of 3-4 ,dont even think of this hotel..you will find better hotel in same rate even in lesser rate than this

I have visited this Hotel (although this should be called a Holiday Home) first in 2008. We had a comfortable stay. During that time the hotel had a lovely menu along with restaurant facility. However, due to some internal problem, the restaurant facility had to be re modified. In my next visit with my family members around 22 persons we availed the restaurant facility as well with a very nice stay. However, my last 2 visits here, once with my family and once by myself, I stayed there without the restaurant facility. But my stay was nice. The rooms are large, the sea view is good. only negative aspect is that Swargodwar is quiet a distance from here. The maintenance of this hotel has deliberately done like this, to give an ethnic Indian look. this is for the foreign travelers. I have heard that the restaurant has been constructed, now the chief needs to join. Lets see if the chiefs joins. Overall its a secluded place and those who really want to enjoy the sea, it is the perfect place. Regarding the locked room: the same belongs to a person who seldom visits and enjoys his stay there. there is nothing to fear about the locked room. And the room which was told to be a kitchen, is actually a kitchen. it is basically a one room flat concept, that is why I recommend to call this a Holiday Home. I like this place.

We stayed here for one night on arrival in Puri, for which it was fine. The room had a lounge included so it was fairly spacious for the price, although the bathroom was small and not that well maintained. There was also a mysterious locked room beside the bedroom to which we did not have access, which gets the imagination going. The hotel itself is down a dark backstreet, so I wouldn't recommend it if you are a solo female traveller. The staff were very friendly and keen to help, which helped warm the atmosphere of the place a little, although there is no real communal area here and it does feel a little characterless. We had a nice view from the balcony, but you do have to look over a large ditch full of rubbish to see the sea. All in all, this place was ok, but there better options in Puri if you can find the space.

Checked in very late and service was friendly and courteous (ensuring we had water). We were however immediately put off by the curfer (think it was 11 pm) and the no alcohol policy. Not that we're alcoholics but we sometimes enjoy a beer at the end of the day. Moreover the hotel had no communal areas, no breakfast and so on and it didn't really meet our expectation (we at least expected Pamela Anderson or David Hasslehoff to be staying). Our room was a bit scruffy with a weird locked room as part of it (a kitchen we were told). The TV was small and worked and there was something of a sea view (as well as the vast rubbish area that was directly outside the hotel). The hotel was up a long alley which was unlit and although I had no problem with it my partner felt uncomfortable walking there alone. We decided to up sticks due to the curfew mainly but also because of the other issues. We went to Z Hotel just around the corner which offered what we were looking for. We could have a drink there, great communal areas and breakfast etc. It was also cheaper than Baywatch which seemed odd. I would say the guys working here were charming and very pleasant, the hotel just lets them down a bit.
