    The hotel is centrally located, just 1 km walk from the beach and 2 kms from the temple..autos are readily available, so no worries. rooms are pretty decent, with all basic amenities...the staff is friendly but expect a tip every time u call for any service..has a large menu of non-veg food but only limited veg options..food is otherwise cheap and good...will surely recommend

    I planned for a family trip to Puri.I booked via goibibo Hotel Sakti International after going through vivid review about this hotel. 1. Location: First of all,it is a very decent hotel in reasonable price.It is near to Puri railway station(about 10minute in auto). Ii is very easy to locate this hotel.All most all kind of cab/auto can locate it very easily.It is also near to golden beach (around 1.2km,15min walking distance).But if anyone wants to stay really near to golden beach/temple ,it is better to find hotels near swargadwar which is also near to jaganath temple. 2. Hotel staff and manager: They very friendly and cooperative.All rooms are double bedded but it can accommodate max 3people.they informed me that online booking charges 1000INR for the extra person/day but if it is booked in hotel it will be 700INR/extra person/day.As per their suggestion,I booked hotel online for 2person and payed for the third person on hotel desk.Their suggestion saved money.We asked for some help around 11pm and immediately they solved the problem.After check in they immediately assisted for arrangement of panda regarding temple visit. 3. Rooms: rooms are3 spacious.Window view was amazing.They provided tea maker and all.Bathroom was neat and clean.Room service was also very prompt. 4. One must opt accommodation with complementary breakfast.You will get a large variety in the breakfast every day.Simply you can not test all the items in single day.

    Pros: Hotel is nice with good location. The tariff is not very high and offers all modern amenities. The staff is courteous, polite and helpful. The rooms are neat and spacious. They provide tea / coffee maker in room.They offer complimentary buffet breakfast which is good but very spicy. They arranged the services of Pujari for darshan of Jagannath temple. The Pujari was very good and there was no demand Cons: The AC in room stopped working in night. However they changed the room which caused inconvenience in night. The tea maker in new room was not working, which they promptly changed. They should provide low height stool in bathroom for taking bath comfortably. Advise to management to check AC and other appliances regularly so as not to cause inconvenience to guests.

    After making a booking at hotel Shakti International through TravelGuru (could only make a Rs.1 payment online), I called the hotel and they confirmed the booking (after initially claiming system problems), On checking into the hotel on 18-Feb, the management refused to honor the booking... leaving us stranded (three kids and two elderly women). Looks like they double-booked the rooms, as it is a busy tourist season. Thankfully, TravelGuru found another nearby hotel with rooms available and we moved to that hotel. I wouldn't recommend using the online booking option for this hotel!

    I stayed with my family recently, the property on the main VIP Road and Close to Railway Station( 1 km) , Lord Janagnath Temple( 2 km), Golden Beach( 2-2.5 km). The Property is Ok, with the Price of 2500.00 per day for 3 with B/F but their rooms has lots of problem, our Room 302 has seepage problem in 'ROOM' literly water is flowing from the walls, they shifted us to 301 but the AC was not properly working and very Noisy, The Front office Staff mainly Managers ( Day Or Night) very unprofessional and non cooperative. No Smile ( Dry Face). Check out Time is 8 AM which is too early. B/F is Good and Ambiance of restaurant 'Aero-Dine" was amazing. Restaurant and House Keeping Staff are good.Due to Managers Attitude and Room Problem, I given 2 star. Hotel Booked through Goibibo Site.
