Very outdated hotel needs refurbishing.

Got to the hotel at 9.30pm after a long journey. Customer service extremely poor. Nobody came out to greet us. Just checked us in and showed us our rooms. Rooms and bathrooms very outdated and needs refurbishing. Bed and pillow extremely hard. Lack of sockets. Floor very dirty.
Restaurant staff very friendly and helpful. Lack of choice of fruits for breakfast.
In one of our rooms they were waken up at 3 am asking what time they were checking out. Asked if they would check out at 5 am. The person was told that they were sleeping. The person called again offering a free nights stay if we check out at 5 am. My sister in law was not happy at all. Complained at reception and was told that this had happened to a few rooms. They knew who it was and was told that the person had locked some of the guests in their rooms. However they did not do anything. This is not acceptable.

Don't believe the room you get will look like those on the website

The room we were allocated (109) was not even listed on any directory so staff had to help us find it - appeared to be a goat herd's room. No phone, fridge, safe etc and a mattress on the floor. Apparently this was due to the hotel being booked out and following a complaint, we were moved to a better room on the 2nd night.
The hotel does not accept payment by card and demand cash payment up front when a drink is delivered.
There was not a great choice of food and virtually no service at meal time, unless you were lucky enough to grab the attention of a drink waiter.
Very disappointing.

The rural location was amazing but the rooms were poor

A lovely location out on a country road with clear skies, great star display and silent. There is a small display of animals - geese, emus (unsure how or why), chooks, sheep & goats. Not far from Pushkar but after that it was disappointing.
The resort is older & in its day would have been very grand but now seems to rely on tourist coaches (or did when we were there for The Fair). The rooms are old & that is fine, but it isn't well maintained.
We were in the Arabian section & there were lots of complaints from our group - other sections of the hotel might be newer or better maintained. The inground water features were either empty or not working, there were large number of wasps around the apartments and amenities, the plunge pools were empty, rear courtyards not usable due to the wasps, the internal materials were water stained (some mould), timber work deteriorated, tv's were often not working and sadly the showers weren't working (day 1 we had water, day 2 no water). There was a small front porch - no chairs or table.
The common area for food (2 dining rooms) and the bar was pleasant enough. Sitting out on the grass for pre-dinner drinks was fantastic.
The food however was pretty ordinary - the first day (lunch & dinner) was poor (plain, limited choice, empty dishes) & the second day was better but still plain wth limited choice. Some guests were telling other guests not to bother going to dinner on the first night due to the meal offered.
The staff were generally friendly & helpful & tried hard, but the results were only fair (maybe a language issue). Wifi was very restricted and only accessable down at reception (limited number of connections at any time).
Felt like the hotel had accepted too many bookings & were unable to provide acceptable accomodation or quality volume food able to feed 100+ people at around the same time.
One positive was the infinity type pool overlooking the property and valley. Nice temperature, clean water, good shower and adjacent to the reasonably priced spa. Only negative was it was very shallow and only a small number of seats.
I wouldn't go back there even for the Fair - there are much better looking options closer to Pushkar but still with similar rural environments.

Aaram Bagh Leisure Trip

Aaram Bagh is a beautiful place surrounded by the serenity of mountains, very well constructed, big spacious and lavish rooms. The most amazing thing was the Never Say No attitude of the staff, Good Food and Good Hospitality adds the flavour.
