Please read all my review, both the positive and negative! We stayed three nights at the Pushkar Palace over looking the lake. We were very happy with our accommodation and the bedroom staff kept the rooms spotless. It is not a new hotel but we were very comfortable and would recommend staying here. There is a beautiful covered terrace outside the rooms to sit and enjoy the views. The 4th floor is the best level to stay at and possibly the 3rd. The biggest downside of the hotel was their breakfast, which was awful and the staff unfriendly, we ate there the 1st day and next 2 ate out at the 2 cafes close by overlooking the lake. It was such a shame as this really let the hotel down, along with the not too friendly staff on the reception desk. I have read other reviews about this hotel and so many have negative comments about the food and as we thought the breakfast so bad we would not chance eating supper there. If the hotel management addressed this easy to solve problem it would lift the hotel into a different category completely. Also, if you are looking for a quiet peaceful stay, try to find out what is the auspicious time for weddings each month as when we were there, there were at least 2 or 3 weddings parading through the streets each evening, which was interesting and enjoyable to watch for one evening, but not 3! The noise level reverberated through your chest and went on till at least 2am every night we were there!

The hotel is perfectly situated at the lake, with a beautiful view from the rooftop. The breakfast buffet was very nice. The rooms are not very spacious. Hot shower and nice bathrooms. TV available. WiFi slow. Service was medium to good. Everything quite overpriced, would recommend choosing cheaper options.

The location of the hotel is perfect - right at the holy lake. The staff ist friendly and helpful. The breakfast was in order. The rooms are clean but the general appearance is a little out of date. All in all, the price cannot be legitimated for what is provided - especially for Indian price standards.

A five star location a special hotel with one star keep. We stayed for two days. Fantastic building on the lake but managed like the poorest hostel. Time to replace the management. Examples include need to remind them to clean the room to bring towels to bring water etc.

We enjoyed our stay at Pushkar Palace Hotel during the annual Camel Fair. Located right on the ghats in the middle of town, our room was huge and reasonably well appointed, it also had views out over the lake and the ghats. Food was reasonable and the staff extra friendly. Hotel a bit run down though but was so well located that we were very content with our choice.
