very basic hotel - with sub standard service - short staffed and poor hygeine standards. the breakfast was sparse , the hotel staff was not well trained. although the property was pretty , they need to have better amenities and well trained staff.

I have stayed there just for a day and while checking in I asked them about the breakfast .. they said its on the roof .. the next morning when I visited the breakfast venue ... its like wow ... wonderful weather and they also provide English breakfast as well .. and after 15-20 mins of checking out I figure out that I had forgotten my wallet which has almost 8K INR .. and I was worried ... I was already on the way back to the hotel and I received a call from the hotel .. they brief me about the wallet .. and I found all my money in there ... I was extremely happy ... I may, may not find hotels with the comfort, but wish to stay with the loyalty rooms are clean .. trumendus hot water .. view is quite good .. very near from pushkar lake ..

Where to even begin, bedsheets were dirty, curtains missing, drains in bathroom smelled of sewage. Due to my overwhelming common sense I did not eat here. The two young men who hang around constantly stared at me walking in and out of the hotel, to the point where my partner actually stood to block their view. Awful place do not stay here ever.

So our original plans changed & we ended up being talked into a tour.... the choices of hotels werent good.... not the ones we would have picked...we ended up here as the other one they had for us was 1k from the town & made do for four nights... smelly drains in bathroom, had to wait ages for hot water, then the bathroom floods & makes the smelly drains worse!! Surly staff, breakfast choice was porridge or cornflakes, no Indian choice ( the drivers, I noticed had Indian meal) seeing other comments, it seems the tour companies are raking in with this racket a no star hotel... avoid

Pushkar Lake Palace is situated on the Parikrama Marg, very close to the Pushkar Lake. It is easily accessible by road so you can take your vehicle right up to the hotel parking, yes, they have an enclosed parking. It is built for a price. Rooms are functional but not very pleasing aesthetically. The location is helpful in reaching this hotel and at the same time reaching all important landmarks and places in Pushkar. Location is good for taking camel safari as well. It is just next door [actually a Maidan without doors]. Manager Mr Bhagwanji is helpful kind, the owner is an enthusiast kind and owns a TATA Hexa 4x4 so must be a good source of information if you are an adventure lover, however with our family trip we did not have the opportunity to use his knowledge. In-house kitchen/restaurant is good for tea and in emergency or may be if you are ok with just anything to eat regardless of taste. Dont be misled by old photos, construction in the vicinity has blocked the view to lake from this hotel.
