A scrumptious buffet breakfast to begin your day with, great walks across the forest, and do ask for a barbecue in the evening! Good for solo, group, family outing. Highly recommended. We visited this site as a group of 27-28 people. The location is in the middle of the jungle, with almost 9 kms. of drive on a dry river bed. Be advised to get the escort jeep from the hotel else it may be difficult to reach. Also, leave your hatchbacks or sedans behind else you may end up damaging your car. Once you reach the place, it's blissful. You feel the crisp morning air, the star-lit nights and feel one with nature. There's a cricket strip they've made on the river bed nearby which is good if you are a group. You have to sleep in tents, which, although are tents, have all amenities and are furnished well. Walkers can take a morning hiking / walking trail and enjoy the scenic beauties along. Service was great and it was really heartening to see that the staff was well trained, even in these remote locales. Even though our group was large, all efforts were made to service all requests and nobody had to wait more than 5-10 minutes after the request was made All in all, a great stay and very much recommended.

Reservation: I had made the reservations through Leisure Hotels Delhi office. Location & Room: If you are a nature lover and interested in jungles, this is a place which you should never miss. Absolutely amazing location right in the middle of nature with nothing but beauty for your eyes and pure air to breathe in. The path to the resort is by itself adventurous and thrilling, where at the last few kilometers there is no road and you are driving through the jungle path mostly on river bed with hills around you. I would recommend contacting the resort for pick-up and drop to this place, otherwise it may be difficult at the end to find the road and track the place. Once you reach the resort it is just a visual treat for your eyes. They have tented cottages. The tents are pretty spacious with all amenities. During the winter, you will be provided with room heaters and during evenings bonfires are arranged. Just wake up in the morning, sit in the chair in front of your cottage and get a visual treat of the natural surroundings around you. It is heavenly. Each cottage is located at different on the side of the hill. The service was top class. Every staff member was exceptionally well behaved and ready to help at any point in time. Hats off to all the staff of this resort. Remember there is no television over here. Food: Food is served at the Gole Ghar which is strategically located at the top of the resort overlooking all the cottages. The food served here was as pure as the nature. Food was simple but very tasteful. You will eat to your hearts content and fall in love with the food. Overall superb place to stay for a couple of nights if you are a nature lover. You will find yourself surrounded by greenery all around. Certainly, a place I would recommend all of you to visit.

We were two families and stayed there for two nights. Its an awesome, middle of jungle place with nice luxurious camps to stay in. Service is excellent. Food is ok. You would need a vehicle with sufficient ground clearance to reach there in your own vehicle as its right in middle of nowhere after driving down for around 10 km on riverbed (hills on both sides) from Chilla Dam Road to interiors of Rajaji National Park. They will pick you up from the motorable road if you don;t want to take that drive. Huts have modern washrooms and very well appointed. Vast space of hill side with huts on both sides and play area in between is available. Staff is courteous and takes care of everything you may need to make your stay comfortable. Go for it if you want to enjoy off road drive where you have to cross several water streams, stay at secluded place all to yourself and enjoy the nature. Highly recommended place. . . go for it.
