Rajula is situated in the Amreli district of Gujarat in India. The city is continuously developing and the credit goes to Dawoodi Bohra. Today, it stands as a popular tourist destination in the region and draws a good number of tourists every year. The destination is famous for its large market yard facility, which makes Rajula trip convenient.
Among all Rajula attractions, the most famous is the lake which lies near the popular Maruti Dham. A great place for picnics and outings, the lake is thronged by a number of people. The lake is surrounded by wells, parks, bathing spots and dharamshalas (rest houses). Apart from this lake, tourists can explore the Kumbhnath Sukhnath Temple, which is in the vicinity of the city. The temple is located on the bank of Dhaterwadi River and wholly dedicated to the 'God of Destruction', Shiva. It is believed that the idol placed in the temple was made by Bhima and Yudhishthira, two Pandavas from Mahabharata. Some other Rajula tourist places are Bhidbhanjan, Ram Mandir, Govardhannathji Ni Haveli, Sanyas Ashram and Samudri Mata Ji Mandir.
Rajula hosts fairs on the occasions of Satam Atham and Janmashthami, which are attended by thousands of people. Tourists can participate in these fairs and experience the devotion with which the festivals are celebrated. With each passing year, numbers of tourists visiting Rajula are increasing, due to which the city's status of a travel destination has been uplifted. The city possesses all the necessary amenities that make tourist's sojourn comfortable.
