Nice place to stay. Beautiful cottage, with six room. One is a duplex room, and one attic room. That one is small, but has beautiful view. From the main road, one has to walk it down, for about 250 meters. For luggage they have helping hands. Nice garden with lovely flowers steal your tiredness away. They have a few indoor games, like pool table, carrom, chess, cards etc. A common room with tv is there. Small family type dining room. Food is cooked as per your choice. Home cooked food, away from the home is always welcomed. Staff is very humble and ever smiling. Ever ready to help. That is a big plus. Around the property, there are plum, apple and peach trees. We plucked a few and had it. Naturally. The only thing required is some pest control of the room. Sports and insects were too many. In the natural habitat, they are bound to be there, but coming on the walls and clothes is little extra. I would still say that barring this one, thing, if you want to spend some serene time, in the lap of the nature, here is the place, you must visit.

Stayed Last week end of June 2018. Very Quite Place. Need to walk 250m appx to reach there. You feel ur in a middle of a jungle.Try to avoid having food out side as lots of Monkeys around. Staff service is excellent.Wifi router placed on fist floor, poor connection in ground floor.Sleep quality is not up to the mark. Managgement needs to change the mattresses which are hardly 2-3 inches thick. Interior decoration is excellent 10/10. You need to check the availabilty of water before going for bath. If no water supply you have to ask the caretaker to start the motor.Toilets are not clean. Management should fix the leakage problem which makes bath and toilet area wet almost in all the rooms. Food quality is reasonable.Since staff is not proffesional you have to ask for every small thing like papad, salad ect. They dont refuse if you ask any additional item, but you have to tell them in advance as they need to get the items from the market. Out side view is very good.If you walk down 300 mtrs from this place you will find garden of Apple, Peaches,KIwi, Walnut and plum. Overall a reasonable place.

I with my two friends stayed at Taradale cottage last week, n trust me when I say it, this place has all that you need for a relaxing stay. The architecture of the cottage is so archaic and beautiful, every nitty gritty of it has an old charm to it. It was a love at first sight. Room was so cosy and beautiful with all the necessary facilities. We were served hot and fresh home cooked food, cook was expert in making Indian as well as continental. They treated us with so much love and care that the whole experience became even better. There were fruit orchids all over the place, we got a chance to litrly pluck and have fresh fruits. The owner himself is really polite and helpful. I would highly recommend you to go and stay in Taradale if you are looking for peaceful and surreal experience.

Taradale is located in ramgarh and slightly isolated. You need to walk downhill around 200m to reach there. As a result the climb back up is tough for some people. However the view and the cottage is spectacular. It's a colonial cottage with all the colonial feels still there starting from the fireplace, the staircase with old pictures and the overall decor . The outside area is very pretty with their garden furniture, swing, view of the beautiful mountains along with plenty of sun during the day time and the stoned pathways . The staff was very helpful and warm. The food was also tasty and homely. The cook would ask before each meal what we would prefer eating depending on the freshly available vegetables and meat. We stayed in the galagal room which has the direct view of the mountain range from your bed directly while you are woken up by the sunrise. However the price is quite steep since they don't include the food in that price and the per meal cost is pretty expensive in addition to the room rent. And there is additional charge for wifi or fire. The place is perfect for some peace and quiet since it's never fully occupied and you end up being the only guest in that big house.
