We were booked in by our travel agent and were told we had a deluxe double room. To our horror there were no rooms, only tents. We were to be the only occupants as the other tents were not occupied. Staying alone in that surrounding was scary and we requested a change of property. The Manager, Shayam Yosi, was very understanding and helpful and he found us alternative accommodation, although it was not the Resort's fault. Made to understand that a revamp is to take place. Until that happens the Resort is not a place to stay. LW Sydney, Australia

If you are used to camping this place will be fine for you, but my friends and I are accustomed to hotels and hated our experience here. If you go on line and see the photos it all seems very elegant but it is not. There is no heat or hot water. We were freezing to death. The food in the restaurant was equally awful and I suggest you go next door to eat at Kipling's Lodge. I will say that the staff try hard to please you but the place falls short of its advertising. Also if you are looking for a guide in the tiger park, Su Raj is the best and only female guide. Her English is good and she really knows what she is doing.

Most amazing resort. Durable and spacious Swiss tents. Great food and hospitality. Also have tie ups with safari operators. Very close reserve and hence can get there early. Facilities and swimming pool are also great. Want to go back for a longer trip. Pl do visit and stay. You will all enjoy.

Exactly what I needed. Far from city .. silent place...Great experience of staying in tents... the staff is really nice and helpful... The best part is the food. The food is fresh and tasty.... Ranthambore tiger reserve is about 3 km from the resort. Only drawback is you need to go to the front desk everytime you need anything as they don't have intercom installed... Rest all is Great !..

I had booked V Resorts, Ranthambore in the month of August itself. The place was nice, a bit far away from the Town. The Tents were nicely made and properly planned. The Staff is courteous, but the Manager of the Resort needs to take necessary measures for making the Stay a bit more exciting and interesting. Since the Resort is a bit far from the town there should be some activity or entertainment so that the Guest can pass their time. When we asked him he said that it is Season time so we don't do it. What's the use doing in Off Season. The atitude was very Lathargic and he had to be reminded about everything. The Stay was pleasant but the place makes you very lonely if you are not in a group. The Food was OK and as we did not have any other choice so far we could not help it. A lot off effort has to be taken if they want to sustain in the growing Hotel Business in Ranthambore.
