What's Good: courteous staff, tasty food, beautiful tents, personal space
Reason For Rating : Staying in a luxury tent was a wonderful experience. Sultan Bagh is a lovely property with great service and good food. The ACs not working in the restaurant were a small inconvenience since all meals need to be had there and there isn't room service. Otherwise it was a very enjoyable stay and we would love to go back.

I had book the Tent for a different experience than regular hotels, I and would say, I was not disappointed at all. We reached very early at almost 5 in the morning, the guy was not ready to do early check-in to the maharaja tent, instead had offered me a regular tent. I was pissed because he said, i could get the maharaja suite only next day. But by evening all was sorted when the manager came in. All in all a good experience with good breakfast options

We stayed at Sultan Bagh in April and were overwhelmed by the warmth and hospitality of the staff there. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable. The chef Chitrakesh cooked delicious dishes and his restaurant team made sure we enjoyed every meal! Don't expect exemplary 5 star settings but their eagerness to please makes up for everything else. They even arranged a lovely poolside dinner for us one evening complete with candles and rose petals! Brij Pal, Bhupen and Jitendra were very helpful in getting us our bookings. Dharamraj was oir driver, guide and naturalist all rolled into one and kept us entertained with his wealth of stories and knowledge about the forest and the royal magnificent tigers that lived within. The accommodation was very comfortable and I recommend the tents over the rooms any day. Will we visit Sultan Bagh again? I assure you, we will!

As we were travelling with a 5 year old in the very hot month of April, our accommodation choice was based on which hotel had a swimming pool. We loved the idea of tents and so we chose Sultan Bagh for two nights. Planning on doing two safaris and then a whole day by the pool relaxing. We arrived and went for a swim before our first safari only to find the pool was growing thick black mould on the sides and bottom. The manager wasn't on site at this point and we were told the manager would be there at 9am the next day. He was not there on return from our morning safari and the times kept getting later and later. In the end we called him to say we were leaving after only one night as the temperature was in the 40s and we had a day of doing nothing so we wanted a refund for the second night (we were happy to pay for our first night). A very long story short, Mr. Singh didn't care and was dismissive on the phone. We emailed Agoda about the refund for the second night (took about half an hour as the Internet was so slow) and left to go to another hotel with a lovely pool. N.B. The other staff at the hotel went out of their way to try to make us happy but unfortunately they could not do anything about the pool. The food in the restaurant is delicious.

Sultan Bagh is a nicely maintained property with limited Luxury Tents. Units are having limited amenities like AC , attached toilet with fabric partition and kettle. Located approx 10kms from Jungle Safari booking center. Food choices are limited but taste is okay. Staff seems keen to satisfy.

I visited this place with my fiance in last week of March 2018 and following is my review for this place. We got warm welcome when we finally arrived at place. Prior to that we received two calls from them ensuring confirmation and provided details how to reach there. We took auto from Sawai Madhopur station who charged us 300 INR. We got welcome drinks (Minute Maid orange drink). We were accommodated in T6. Tents are comfy. It has verandah. Bathroom was good. There's nice arrangement to relax outside tent in evening. Now about two things we were disappointed most. 1. ACs were not working. It was tripping frequently due to power issues. 2. It does not have Cupboards. I was not bothered as it does not have TV as well. Nice place to relax but not without AC in the summer. Property is well maintained. It has few indoor and outdoor sports equipments which one can enjoy. Service staff is excellent. They take care of your needs. Alcohol is not served here but when we asked for it they went and bought it for us. They also got pastry for us. Food is very good and tasty. You won't be getting too many options in lunch and dinner but whatever is prepared tastes good. Breakfast is okay and can be improved. Now the most important thing that I felt while staying here. 1. If you have advance booked safari in Zone 1 - 5 then it's okay. It will take 20-30 min to get there. 2. If you get zone 6 - 10 chances are you have to deduct 1 hour from 3 hours of Safari timing. These place is too far from 6-10 zones. If you get zone 6 - 10 then better proactively arrange vehicle for yourself to meet guide and driver in Ranthambore only. We asked for car to visit Ranthambore fort for which they charged 1200 INR which I felt quite high. Otherwise I had good time here.
