I booked the Rewa Rajvilas hotel for Tilak function, the hotel was informed that about 300 guests are expected to attend the event. Following observations were made:- 1. No one was there for reception. 2. 100-150 chairs were placed 3. The manager was not available for the entire event. 4. It was told by hotel that 4 waiter's will be attending the gathering, however extremely poor service was provided by the waiter's, at a time only one waiter was available in the hall. 5. Water was not distributed and was kept in a corner for self service. 6. Pathetic quality dinner food was served. WITH 25-30 min delay in filling of empty counters. 7. Quality and quantity of food - extremely poor (worst than roadside food). 8. Bad natured and fight-friendly staff. Recommendations:- NEVER EVER BOOK SUCH A HOTEL FOR ANY FUNCTION.....EXTREMELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE....... EVEN IF SOMEONE CALLS YOU TO ATTEND A FUNCTION IN THIS HOTEL... HAVE YOUR MEAL OUTSIDE .....

  • Booked for 300 people family function, Their cost seems to be very high but services are worst

Booked for family function Tilak, For around 300 people as I booked they said we provide good quality food but as the party proceeds the catrer seems to be totally irresponsible the food in the bowl gets replaced so late & it seems they are just present there for formality. In a booking for 300 people they just kept 150 chairs & the food quntity was always insufficient. Worst service.. Not up to the expectations..

  • Great Food

Nice food with Bagheli cusiene adding up to the taste. South Indian cuisine cheaper than Coffee House, but nice Dosa & chutneys. The renovated good rooms are a new experience to be in. Friendly staff.

This property belongs to Rewa Kings. Old construction, poor maintenance but high priced rooms. Reception is well decorated. Restaurant serves both veg & non veg food. Located near Shilpi Plaza and inside Pilli Kothi

  • Unclean expensive hotel

    by nishant_ucms_doc on

Located in the heart of Rewa, this hotel is heavily infested with cockroaches and other insects. The room in which I stayed had a terrible stench emanating from it. The bedsheets were stained and torn at places. The hotel has no separate housekeeping staff and the person who came to clean the room had probably himself not showered in days. The room had no ventilation and the air conditioner was old and did not function properly. Room service was otherwise ok and the food served was good. However for the price of INR 2000 the room was in a very shabby state. My previous stay at this hotel had also yielded a similar experience.

  • Front facing rooms are good.
