Awesome camping site at Rishikesh valley. Next to river.. Wake up early in the morning and explore surroundings, go for white water river rafting, waterfall trek and other sports activities. visited Wildex camp on 24th April 2018. Was memorable stay.. Will visit again and recommend friends as well. Not recommend for kids under 5 as amenities are very basics. Rest ..Explore the true nature.

The place is ok or May b not . 1st campin n thank God didn't take my child along... No parking provided by the camp. Have to park the car on main road which is in not at all safe.. Reaching from the road to camp= pain.. to steep n narrow passage. Have to carry own luggage all the way down to camp Tent very very basic... Cotton mattress n a blanket .. hygiene big doubt.. Food just edible . Glasses etc were dirty.. Dinner time @ 9.30 Food options- none.. limited buffet No nearby shop for water or other items of need.. Staff hardly any. Too lazy.. Washrooms in bad condition. For bath need to fill hot water from outside in buckets n carry to the bathing area. No toiletries of any kind provided by staff.. Staff attitude bad. Far from expected in today's hospitality world.. N the crowd / fellow campers.. OMG cheap n roadsiders.. In short do not opt for this camp if u can afford an outing.. Rather than save a few more bucks n opt for better quality camps.. No place to take kids or family ever..

Sited next to a tributary of the Ganges the gurgling waters hooked me. The camp is raw and basic. Plan your itinerary for each day well in advance and I suggest you keep the owner Abhishek informed. He will help you tweak your program and ready some of the resources you may require eg vehicles or bikes. Nestled in a valley, there is a bit of a steep walk to and fro from the main road. The wash rooms can be better kept. Food is ok. There is no convenience store close by and it is best that you carry along all that you might need. The camp staff does arrange for someone to go to the market should you need anything but they need advance information and assist provided it is not late hours ( markets shut shop ). Stay here if you like the rugged outdoors life.

It was amazing trip with friends. The best part of Wildex camp that it was near to tributary of Ganga. It was sunny day but never felt like hot b'coz of small river. Nights are pleasant and food was good. Washrooms were clean and indoor activities were very nice like cricket, basket ball, badminton, swing net etc. We enjoyed alot and would loved to go again. Very next day it was cloudy day and weather was awesome, we took various nice shots over the rocks. Must recommended.

I am planning my 3rd trip to Camp Wildex and I have never stayed anywhere else except for here. The cam may be like many other camps but the best part about this camp is its LOCATION. Many other camps are located 100 meters from the main river Ganges so you are not technically next to the river and you just cannot dip in the river as it will swipe you away. Here, Wildex is situated next to a small tributary which joins the Ganges. So you can dip in the knee depth river of cold flowing water without a fear or risk of being swiped away. The experience of sitting in it and being in the middle of the valley is amazing. The camp becomes alive at night with so many starters which you can enjoy with drinks and even some loud music to party and dance if there are many people staying at the camp. Dont expect a tasty or hotel type food or stay as these are camps with their own pleasure of rawness.
