Pictures on tripadvisor and their website do not tell what this property looks like now. Let the pictures I took tell you the story. PS. Staff was helpful and understanding. I'm sorry for them having to deal with such a management.

Giving one rating coz of the staff only. It speaks volume of the quality of the building (note: I can't even call it a resort or a hotel) when you are out of the property in 18 hrs instead of the desired 40 hrs. This because when we brought up the below mentioned issues with the management we were told to check out if we wanted to. They probably bluffed given the large group(18) and elders we had in the group. However, we decided to checkout given the condition of the rooms and washrooms. We were 18 of us, booked 8 out of the 9 rooms. Have to say staff was courteous and helpful, however, the property experience wasn't. Here's my experience: 1 Ground floor rooms are in pathetic state with no fan regulators, dirty or no curtains (more like piece of cloth hanging on the windows) 2. In one of the rooms, blinds wasn't working 3. AC had no front panel in the ground floor rooms and more like a 1990s AC. Had they advertised as a property that uses stuff from early 90s, I would've been prepared for it. 4. Flush and drainage issues. You had to flush multiple times to make it usable again 5. There was a strong stench in the washrooms due to the drainage issues. Probably the pipelines had some issues. 6. There are no amenities in the rooms - kettle/tea maker, daily mineral water bottles or minibar as mentioned on tripadvisor. However, the staff was quite polite and you could order room service. When one pays Rs. 5500/night (discounted group booking rate) with b'fast and dinner included I admit, you'd expect basic amenities to be included in the room. Specially when it's a leisure trip and not a business trip. I'm just trying to do my bit by writing this review coz the property's marketing team really feels no guest can do anything about this and nothing will impact the bookings...people will book anyway and its business as usual. Not a property which is value for money and alot of minor things can be ignored but when these things are not acknowledged, it makes the experience even worse. Can't upload videos otherwise would've done that too. Please note - . There are no cottages as shown in the pics...they either got washed away or damaged in the rains

We stayed in this hotel for one day. This is situated slightly ahead of main Shivpuri and have only nine rooms. However, it has amazing courteous staff, very accommodating, will go all the way to make your stay comfortable. Loved every bit of it. The rooms are okay and the property is a bit old, but with all basics in place...

The only thing working for this resort is its location..It has the poorest service i have ever experienced in my entire life...They don't value your money..they don't value your time..And they have no facilities at all...they have no cabs for support, there was no electricity half the time...then water stopped running in the bathrooms..The room phone not working...No breakfast available on promised time...And the rooms were also ok...I'm not sure what are the charges about..and what did we pay so much for...
