What's Good: Courteous staff, surrounded by hills and water streams.
What needs to improve : The hotel charges exorbitant prices for food, pickup/drop, activities. I think the reason is that it's in a secluded area on a hill. You'll have to travel on a really narrow road that heads to top of a hill. This travel is about 3 km. Usually taxis won't agree to travel here so they have their own vehicle. And they charge about 400 bucks one way. Even their river rafting charges are double than what you'd get in the city.

What's Good: The resort is surrounded by hills, a small stream of water make up a water fall which flows just beside the resort. It's a pleasant stay far away from busy life. The resort owner Anand and his family are very helpful in all means starting from arranging airport pick up to guiding us in local attractions and travel.
What needs to improve : Approach to hotel from mail road is 3 km. The road is very bad, it's a bumpy road which u can go only in resort Jeep. And per trip they charge you 300 which i thought was expensive. Other than that it was an awesome experience.

Located near the foot of the Himalayas in the Indian state of Uttrakhand, Rishikesh is the7th largest city in India. The town is a famous tourist spot and also a major pilgrimage spot for the Hindus. The River Ganges flows through the town of Rishikesh and it is famous for its various shrines and yoga ashrams. Rishikesh also is among the few places in India that offers a multitude of adventure sports to its visitors. With the city of Haridwar only a few miles south from rishikesh, the place is also considered as a holy city and is vegetarian! A must visit place in India!

Rishikesh is one of the cities that grows on you by the day; it is located in the shore of the Ganges river. Many meditation and yoga schools are here, some more authentic than others, it is the capital of ayurveda medicine and treatments as well sus many linda of massage.

Its was a very plesant visits weather was nice and it was raining intermittently. Traffic in and around rishikesh was a nightmare we moved 100meter in 1 hour near main market. Govt has built pavement near gangaji where one can go for morning and evening stroll Overall excellent stay

Calm, friendly staff, simple life, green and nice during the monsoon season. we have enjoyed our stay for 3 days. The only thing is that the road to it is in bad shape and it is hard to get there using a taxi, also the signs do not exist from Rishikesh city, we had stop and ask many times and the hotel did not answer the phone.
