This year our yearly sojourn of December was slated for somewhere else but rescheduled it to visit Rural Punjab. This place is around 1 hour drive from Mohali. The road is excellent throughout. For the last stretch of around 1.5 km , you need hand-holding by Mr Kaushal , the ever-smiling gracious host. And that's the beginning of positive vibes. The cottages are excellent. No TV for good measure and you spend time with nature and among yourselves for a change. Lots of birds chirping early in the morning. Deer and wild boars abound we heard , though other than clusters of deer poops during our morning guided and solo treks inside the premises we were not fortunate to see one. You have solid fencing all around for your as well as resident cows' , ducks and poultry safety .Bonfires were always arranged and food was too good. Fresh Milk, curd and out-of-the-world parathas. In case you need any assistance of whatever kind, Sunil is handy and the owner's benevolent presence of course is always available. In case you need some sight-seeing , you have Bhakra Nangal dam 2 hours away and on return may drop into Gurdwra Anandpur Sahib premises. Have Kinu juice and jaggery products to your heart's content. On the flip side, a couple of cottages don't have bathroom doors and only curtains. I am sure this will be fixed before our summer ret We were 8 including 2 very senior citizens , a pet and took 3 rooms . Take your pick and have a go. You will not regret.

I stayed with my family at Prakriti Farm for 2 nights in the month of November as a break during Northern India tour. We were welcomed by the host Mr. Kaushal. The weather was very nice and the walks in the farms proved to be the cherry on cake. Me & my brother were mesmerized by the things around and the taste of such lifestyle which we hadnt experienced before. The rooms were so comfortable. Our host made us feel very special. We really appreciated freshly cooked food served to us, endless flasks of tea, and the nighttime camp bonfire with local rum and lively discussion with other guests. I would highly recommended this for an off beat experience.

I'd booked an overnight stay at Prakriti for my parents and they couldn't be happier that I did so. They've come away absolutely floored by the gentle, serene beauty of the place, to say nothing of the food and hospitality. They were especially touched by Mr Kaushal, who took the trouble to call on them just to enquire about their comfort. He also graciously invited them to evening drinks and offered to take dad putting in the morning (it was much too cold in the morning so Dad skipped). So smitten were they that they went back after they're checked out just to show off the place to a few relatives whom they were visiting in Ropar. I believe they also managed to score a large bag of kinnows for their trip back. Thank you for looking after them so well.

When I first checked it on the website and we decided to be there, never could we imagine that it would be our best interaction with purity, nature and an unforgettable experience of hospitality. We stayed there for a day and my kids never wanted to go home. They asked me If we could buy a tent house here forever. We were greeted and treated like they were just waiting for us to come. Not just the owners or the staff, even the pets and other beings there were so friendly that we never felt that we were there for the first time.We have come back home with plenty of memories and more than plenty reasons to be there again as soon as possible. For my family, if it is an outing, it is a must to be at Prakriti farms. Organic food, served like Mom does it, fresh air as never before, beautiful scenic place right at the heart of a safe forest. Well protected, well equipped yet natural. i can go on and on but to feel what I am writing, one need to be there and I can promise you that you won't regret. This review is not just to write one, but to share what we experienced and we wish you and your family surely deserve to experience the same. Move out, take a day off, come with your loved ones, gift them the best time and atmosphere and they would Love you for the same. Thank you Prakriti farms, Thank you Mr. Kaushal, Sunil, Pets- Charlie, Snowie, Spotty, Bhodu, google, Twitter, lovely ducks, mother cow to feed us with the purest milk n ghee. Expect us back soon

Very beautiful place and well maintained property. Very warm and generous hosts. They served us with freshly cooked homely food. Mr. Kaushal, the owner of the farm is very friendly. There are friendly pets like dogs, ducks, rabbit and birds so kids enjoyed a lot. This is a very safe place. We were three ladies with our four kids but didn't feel any discomfort. We enjoyed a lot . If you are a nature-lover this place is a must!
