Reason For Rating : Hotel wifi bad

What's Good: The best thing I liked about the hotel was its food, very delicious food, both veg and non-veg. Strongly recommended: Dal Makhni and Chicken Patiala.
What needs to improve : Smelly blankets, noise of the vehicles plying on the highway at night
Reason For Rating : Hotel Durga International is a descent hotel in Sakleshpur. It is just located on the highway, easy to reach and has good parking lot. But if you are getting a room on the roadside ie the front side, then you might have some trouble in sleeping due to vehicle plying noise from the highway. The rooms are spacious not very executive. The toilets are neat, clean and spacious. They provide hot water only in the morning hours. The blankets in the rooms were smelling. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has some electrical loading problem and power was coming off and on frequently. But the best thing I liked about the hotel was its food, very delicious food, both veg and non-veg. Strongly recommended: Dal Makhni and Chicken Patiala. Overall a descent, pocket friendly hotel with great food and friendly staff but with smelly blankets and load-shedding issues.

Had a pleasant stay at the hotel. Rooms are spacious enough for 3 people as we got extra bed for 3rd person. Clean and neat. Few times power cut but got restored within no time. Food in restaurant is absolutely great.. I guess the chef is very good.. ate North Indian Thali for lunch and was very yummy.. Breakfast was part of deal but they asked for money. Had to explain them that we paid which were hesitant to not let us go but we said we wont pay as its included. Nice views in the early morning around hotel and if u go behind the hotel, the views are amazing..checkout my photos will show those views..even have good coffee estates.. Staff are good and helpful too.. unfortunately hardly any good channels to view on Tv but its ok as we went to enjoy there..

I travelled recently (23-24th Sep,17) with my family (4 heads) In Sakleshpur, we are travellers have limited options to stay. Durga International is truly one of the best choice to stay. Pros: + Location ( is too good. Having valley view from the hotel rooms + Size of the rooms are good( we booked a 4 bed Non-AC). Room and tiolet is quite big + Though not with high class furniture and finishing, but the Cleanliness was good . + Courteous behavior of all the stuffs and specially the Hotel Manager (Mr. Sunil) . + Service (room and pantry) was quite good and quick. + Food quality was really good . Priced a little high ranged. Overall a very good experience with very good value for money.

The visit was memorable because of a dish called CPCSO (Crispy Potato Chilly Spring Onion). Overall, the food was good and so was the ambience. So, no complaints! Parking was a bit ambiguous and the service was quite OK.

Durga International is about the only hotel one can expect to find reasonably good accommodation. We stayed one night (25th June). The room was fairly clean. The staff cooperative and courteous. The food is quite delicious and the price reasonable.

Loved the hotel, actually! We booked online and got two rooms on the first floor. Rooms were elegant - not one where you can play cricket, but enough big for a couple with a kid or two to stay. Awesome views from rooms on either side of the corridor. They have HUGE WINDOWS which give you good long views. We stayed for just one night, but the stay was nice. Clean Rooms with big bathrooms and windows. 1. The staff was good. The lady (who is actually the owner) at the reception is too cordial and helpful. The other staff and the bell boys are good too. 2. They have two restaurants - one which serves alcohol and non-veg and another which serves only vegetarian food. The food is not that tasty. The place is not very clean. You can order food in the room for no extra cost. 3. There's a lot of parking space - both on the main road or down, in the basement. The property is right on the main road and just opposite to a petrol bunk. Places like Sakleshwara Temple (2 KM), Aiyyappa Temple (1 KM), Abbi Falls (20 KMs) and the Manjarabad Fort (3 KMs) are all nearby. You can consider this as a mid point, though little away from the main market. If you are going from Hassan, you will have to cross the market and the hotel would be on your right. Overall, very nice place!
