This was indeed an amazing trip and the stay at Radcliffe was simply superb. They do have an old bungalow with rooms available in it and also a cottage if you would like a bit of privacy which is basically located in the coffee estate itself. You are free to take a walk in the estate and a morning walk is definitely a must. Its green everywhere with birds chirping every morning and evening. Note, its nature all around you along with bugs, beetles & birds. A guided drive in the estate by Aslam was very informative to know more about the estate and its history.. But the best part of it was the service at this bungalow.. Mr. Dileep, the Manager at Radcliffe and the other staff were really courteous and took care of all our requests and guided us to the right places to visit as well. The breakfast was simple yet yummmm.. Lunch cooked by Dileep himself was simply delicious and more like home food.. They made our stay a lot more nicer and happier. :) !.. Note:Cottage is a good option if you're looking for privacy, but its in the estate hence expect a few tiny insects to take entry if the doors are not closed soon as you get in. But no harm if you love nature..

Nice location just off the bangalore mangalore highway. The main bungalow has 3 rooms. The bungalow is quite quaint and is well mainted. The rooms are large and spacious and accommodated 2 adults, a child and a small dog. The room also had a shower area outdoor and large bathroom. The surrounding are beautiful and good to for a morning and evening walk. We spend 3 days with one day visit to Dharmasthala and Kukke temples. The next day drive to Hanbal falls near Hanbal, bisle ghats and Manjarabad fort. On return went to Shettihalli. The place as such does not have many activities. The food was excellent including the dinner. Dinesh who is the caretaker ensures we were well taken care of. The cusine was malnad with good spread for breakfast and dinner. The cost was on the higher side including the food. Otherwise everything else was good. Room linen could be cleaner.

Hi, I came to know about Sakleshpur and Plantation Escapes through my friend who has already visited this place. So, decided to go to this place for vacation. I decided to drive down to this place from Chennai and so, I started on a Friday evening to B'lore and made my overnight stay in my relative's house. On Saturday morning we started our drive to this place and this is located 260 kms approx from B'lore. We drove down to Kukke Subramanya temple which is 60kms approx from Sakleshpur. The drive on the ghat road was thrilling and also the last stretch of drive to temple was amazing because of the picturesque route you get to drive. I had made the inquiry through mail with Mr. Suresh and Manoj Shanbhag who provided me with a full detailed itinerary and the cost for each type of room. I opted for the Radcliffe Annex which is more suitable for a couple. The room had a living and bedroom. The living room was provided with a LCD TV and a dining table. The bedroom had a two single seater sofa, cupboard and a dressing table. The stay and hospitality was really awesome!!... The food provided was also extremely good and it's really worth the money we pay. The place of stay is so calm that you get the opportunity to relax to the maximum extant possible. Below are the contact mail id's for inquiry firstname.lastname@example.org email@example.com A must visit place with family and friends and please don't miss it...!
