It's kind of a luxury A.C.lodging.Executive rooms with amenities.Good food.Recommended for regular travellers who drive a lot and also for those who spend time in trekking, nature photography away from the cities in a long vacation.

Stayed there two nights as part of a group booking while on tour of the area. Plus points: pretty near centre of town, reasonable parking, standalone building, good looking facade. On the other hand, rooms are small and not air conditioned. Sheets ok clean. Watch out if you are staying on twin sharing basis, you only get a double blanket so you might land up cozying up to your roommate. Bathroom is decent, clean but no hot water. They promised hot water in the taps 7 am to 11 am but I was not able to indulge despite being well within the said timings. As for towels, less said the better, hence just two words - ragged, stained. So as always, advised to carry own. Room service works , provided the phone works - mine didn't but my friend's did. Food is ok, very spicy even for that area. Safest to eat omelette with toast/ pao/ roti. Interesting quirk: rooms are not numbered but lettered - I stayed in S, my friends were in Q.

The Ambassador had saved me from staying in a sub standard hotel or on the streets on an unplanned trip to Satara for a glimpse of Kaas Plateau. We landed here after searching all hotels for over two hours in Satara for a shelter. The property was new and rooms were maintained well. It has a restaurant that serves decent food. The crowd was pretty decent and is suitable for couples as well as families.

A nice hotel with spacious parking. Room is very comfortable and good and so is the service of the staff. It is a decent low budget hotel in a small town like Satara. Only problem is early morning you will not get tea or coffee.
