While the booking was handled well on phone, the room was a shocker...absolute matchbox with nothing other than the bed to sit on. We had dinner there which was tasteless. Bangda fry was raw and had to be taken back to be fried again. The staff try to be helpful but are confused. They gave us wrong info on the opening time of the kaas plateau and also different timings for breakfast which was only poha...no choice of anything else. Electricity was erratic and wasted money paid for air conditioning. The guy who delivered breakfast was more interested in taking a good look around the room. Please do yourself a favour and find elsewhere to stay as it is only a short drive to the plateau in the morning.

Had been with my Family to Kaas plateua and stayed at Kaas Holiday Resort for a couple of days on 25th and 26th August 2017. The hotel is near the plateau and cannot be missed as it is on the main road. The rooms were nicely done up and sparkingly clean. The hotel does not have a proper restaurant though they serve food, there is no menu card and the food is below the average and there is no logic for the charges. The Complimentary breakfast was also average and limited to an egg or poha. The rooms are good but they need to work out on their food.

This hotel is the closest to the Plateau. First visited it in Sep 2013 when they had just opened with barely 5 rooms. It was very comfortable and a nice cozy place back then. The owner is very friendly and manages the place himself. He even prepared a non-veg curry on special request. When I went back in Oct 2016 I barely recognized the place and there was further extensions being carried out. I still preferred the old place which had a cozy homely feel to it with local ladies from the nearby village cooking the meals. The place still has a charm to it.

As it is nearby to the " kaas plataeu " & we were looking to have a stay , we found this one , & to be very honest , it is above the average place to stay with . We were there for two days in last sep . Our experience about the estate is really good , though it was not very very good , but was above the average . Of - course we were not there to enjoy hotel stay , but to enjoy the nature . And there it scores great . It has great location , clean campus as well . Food quality was also fine . The service was also fine . Rooms are neat & clean . Well ventilated , & we are again planing to visit KAAS this season also , needless to say , we are going to opt for the same again .

This is one of the few resorts located near the picturesque Kaas Plateau. The resort may not boast of an attractive entrance or add-on facilities such as swimming pool or children's park, but it's USPs of excellent service and tasty authentic Maharashtrian cuisine make it a good choice to spend a night or two. It's located just 3 kms from the Kaas Plateau which is an added advantage.
