Very good property. Santosh was very helpful. The food they made was also good. We Enjoyed the sunrise. Had a blast staying with my family. Would highly recommend if they are looking for some family time and weekend getaway

The property has an excellent view of the valley. The property is very well maintained. Special mention to the care taker Santosh and his wife Madhuri for home cooked meals. There is a good collection of childerns books. A great place for family get together. When you arrive the first time, I would recommend you call the care taker and ask him to escort you to the property as google maps goes haywire in the last km or so. Table land is just 10-15 mins by walk from the property. You will have a do a small trek (which is not difficult) to get on top of table land. Thumbs up to Saffron Stays for this property.

booked the property via saffronstays. Situated in Panchgani, need to follow a dirt road of about a kilometer to reach there. Saffronstays shares the location on google maps. Beautiful property. the caretakers were amazing. Mr santosh and company tried everything possible to suffice our requirements. Rooms and other areas were nice and clean. The verandah with the rocking chairs and the swing was the best part along beautiful view of the valley. the food cooked by mr santosh and family was sumptuous and they were willing to customize as needed. An ideal weekend getaway with friends and family, if needing a break from the daily hectic routine. The place is as shown in the pictures on the saffronstays website

We discovered Verandah by the Valley on the website safronstays.com. We were encouraged to book this place after going through the reviews and viewing the photographs on the website. While our stay here was memorable for various reasons, I do feel that the photographs on the website were quite misleading and the property (except the Verandah) was not as it seemed to be. We spent a large part of our stay at the Verandah on the verandah. It is not surprising that the place is called Verandah by the valley given the spectacular views and a reasonable well maintained outdoor area. You are likely to spend most (if not all) your time there. The property otherwise was not very well maintained and one could see the after effects of the monsoon. The rooms were basic. The bathrooms were large but, again, not well maintained. The food was basic local cuisine but very reasonably priced and tasty. Stay here longer than a couple of days and the food will seem repetitive. The caretaker Santosh and his wife took good care of us to the best of their ability but I do believe that the place is under staffed. Santosh could do with some help. Last thing, the property is quite out of the way. The access is through some very rough terrain. Be prepared for a unique off roading experience in the hills of Panchgani. To conclude, an above average home stay experience which, with some effort, care and professional involvement, can be excellent.

The place was beautiful. The caretakers where nice but a bit grumpy at times. However the place is located ideally and gives an unrestricted view of the valley. I loved the serenity and calm surrounding. However the approach to the Villa is through muddy roads and one must be careful.
