We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is full of character and charm. We had a huge bedroom with windows overlooking the street below, there was always something to see! Outside our room was a large courtyard ,very pleasant to sit and read or have a drink in the sunshine. The food was all home cooked by the wife of the manager/ owner, and was fantastic. The manager could not have been more helpful, friendly and charming. He took us out to show us around the town and was very interesting. The town itself is full of beautiful painted havelis all within walking distance of the hotel. We would stay here again without hesitation if in the area .

The hosts were really warm and welcoming and informative, the staff - efficient, the food - delightful and the place was just a dream. Simple and a glimpse into the bygone era. A sleepy little town filled with beautiful architecture.

Myself & my 2 friends had spent several days in the Shekhawati area, and wanted a place for a lunch in Ramgarh before catching our train back to Delhi from Churu. We had already eaten a lot of local food, so wanted something simple like a pasta. Called ahead and Raghuvendra ( the owner of Ramgarh Fresco) was happy to accommodate. we were pleasantly surprised by this cosy Haveli which had lovely frescoes and a welcoming courtyard. We got to see the cosy rooms as well. The pasta served was delicious, plus we were also hearing about the home cooked individual recipes, different from the usual menus offered in the area. Raghuvendra shared his knowledge on the frescoses and was kind enough to take us to other Havelis in the area.. again discussing the development over time of these forgotten gems. We would very much like to have stayed at Ramgarh Fresco, considering the warm welcome we received... definitely on the list!

Hotel Ramgarh Fresco was a place we just happened upon and thought we'd stay one night and push off. 11 days later, we were sad to leave! It was a friendly home in Shekhawati. The proprietors, Raghavendra and Priya, took wonderful care of us. We made Ramgarh our base and visited many havelis in nearby towns. Ramgarh itself is an authentic town with numerous amazing havelis. Raghavendra is very outgoing and friendly with his guests, bringing them on walks, around town to local eateries, and spending lots of time sharing his culture. Food at the hotel is excellent, the structure is a beautiful haveli, and they are always trying to share new things. A wonderful place from which to enjoy Shekhawati.

Ramgarh Fresco is an Experience, it is not just a room to stay. I had heard about this place through word of mouth, and had planned a 2-day stay, during my 4-stay at Shekhawati. Mr Raghavendra who owns this place 7 his wife proved to be an excellent host. They made me feel at home. I being a solo traveler, was extremely impressed by their hospitality. The rooms and facilities are great. The rooms have been restored with authenticity of a 11th century Haveli; but still catering for the modern comfort. I felt being transported two centuries ago. Though they have a sort of Menu card for food; they specialise in local cuisine. I recommend that try their local dish. You can also discuss with the host if you want to eat something exquisite, if the raw material is available, he will not shy away from experimenting; and trust me- they are excellent at cooking food as well. They have a small but well equipped library for everyone's taste. For me, 2-day stay was extended to 6-day stay. I also find that Ramgarh is quite suitably located to visit all places at Shekhawati. If you want an experience, to me Ramgarh Fresco is the place to stay.
