What's Good: Food was okay
What needs to improve : Very basic level of rooms and comfort. No proper Road to reach hotel. Site is misleading. They should state all facts correctly so that travelers can make an informed decision
Reason For Rating : The access road is extremely bad and it should be mentioned on the site so that guests can make an informed choice. There is a stretch of more than 2 kms that can be hardly called a road. It is only stones and pebbles and not safe at all for traveling in small cars or with kids. The staff tries to convince you that it is okay and completely safe but the reality is that once you reach mid way you don't really have much of a choice. And then they use your example to convince other guests to come as well. The funny part is that when you ask for a pick up or drop to a proper Road point that is a 6 to 7 mins distance by car, the staff asks you to pay 400 Rs one way to pick up or drop you if you are not comfortable to make that journey on your own and when checked on why such a steep price the explanation is that it's because of the condition of that stretch of road. Both the explanations by the same staff are completely contradictory

Nice place near Shimla for vacations with family and friends. They provide the packages which include room in bamboo huts, adventure activities like rappelling, Burma bridge, etc. , bonfire, food, and snacks. One must visit this place to enjoy the true nature. Cottages are comfortable and spacious. The road is dangerous, go with an expert driver or track from the main road to this place. The food is awesome and the staff is cooperative. You can enjoy the sunrise from the mountains. Special thanks to the owners for the hospitality, they are very nice and helpful persons.

Not a worth.. Only greenery without any hospitality. Everyone is on vacation.. People do vacation for rest and peace after spending money, but not satisfied by facilities and hospitality. You are on vacation, still you have to get ready till 9:30am because after then.. NO HOT WATER... requested for room heater.. But not working due to less voltage supply. About food - no a'la cart - they provide buffet menu in a'la cart-its like as what mother says - beta yehi sab hai.. Dekhle jo khanna ho. In room - very dim light - not able to get dressed up

Weekend and mountain vibes! We just chanced upon Mashobra greens while doing an impromptu trip and booked it instantly. It is located a little off beat from the main road. It has both tents and huts/ cottages which are done neatly. With the cottages you get attached toilets with hot water facility. Those who book tents will get shared toilets. It is situated amongst deodar trees and apple orchards which were in full bloom this April. It is quite serene and you can jus unwind listening to the birds , watching the clear blue skies and sipping some amazing hot tea. You can also take a stroll near the resort amongst the deodars and breathe clean oxygen :) The staff is very warm and hospitable and will go all out to help you. The food they serve has variety and is delicious. By the borne fire we gazed at the stars and had veg soup , chicken curry , palak paneer , aloo gobhi , bhindi , salad, Chapatis, rice and besan halwa. the food was amazing. For breakfast we had tea , aloo parathas , bananas , toast and omelette which again was very delicious. We also did a small trek to one of the temples nearby in the evening. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to unwind in the lap of nature. Three cheers to the Chef !
