Quiet Peaceful Hotel with Great Views

Friendly and very helpful staff. Lovely and peaceful with no annoying noise. About 10 to 15 minute pleasant walk to the centre of town. Great views from my room and amazing 360 degree views from the rooftop.

Detail Review. There are plenty of hotel in Shimla which are on road & directly accesible by car & almost 90% hotels have valley view. This hotel is not on road & u will have to pay 200 Rs. per day for paid parking which is very far. You have to walk & take stairs around 400 metre to reach hotel, because vehicles are not allowed after A G office. it's difficult to reach there with luggage. Deluxe room are inside, very small & dosn't have valley view. In room electric geaser is available for hot water. Balcony combined between two rooms is there. Hotel manager is good person. Staff is very courteous, even he had come with us till road for luggage help. Food is good & at very reasonable cost.

The hotel rooms are clean and good. They maintain it very well. But it's located in one corner. So, people might find it difficult to locate.Better is to call the hotel reception and confirm the route. But once you get to know the route it's very easily accessible from The Ridge and bazzars. Even railway station is at walkable distance.. The Manager was really good, he explained what all we can cover in our two day trip. They provide local sight seeing cab at reasonable rates as well but we didn't use it as we had already booked Hpdtc buses.
Overpriced budget hotel - though manager is well speaking

I am writing to help other travellers. I have booked this hotel through Make My Trip ( booking number NH7101150767495 ) Travel dates were 20 May to 22 May 2017. As a budget traveller, this hotel is over priced considering its location , distance to reach hotel , amenities and size. From Kalka to Shimla , bus traveling takes 3 hours + 1 hour in case of traffic jam. On the other way, train traveling takes 6 - 7 hours. As it is a hill station, always be ready to walk. For reaching this hotel, if coming by bus , one should drop at victory tunnel bus stand. From there it will take 15 - 18 minutes inclined walk. There are 02 bus stands in Shimla, one is new bus stand and another one is old bus stand. The best landmark is state bank of india's main branch, this hotel is 5 - 7 minutes walking from sbi bank and it is at last in that narrow street. As already informed you, in hill station, specially in Shimla, be prepared to walk. Kali Bari Temple , Mall road is near to this hotel. Coming on to hotel amenities, below are details :- * Hotel has a good d2h connection , * good led television ( sony/ videocon tv ) , * geyser in bathroom , * room service is average , manager is well speaking , * blanket / quilt in room , * wall fan , floor carpet , * room size is small , * queen beds , * some rooms have valley view , Signature Places to Visit In Shimla :- Mall Road Ridge Lakkad Bajar Tara Devi Temple ( one can take a bus from old bus stand ) Jakhu Temple ( Hanuman Ji temple near Mall road ) Chadwick Falls ( NOT WORTHY ) Please do not expect much on the part of food and its taste in Shimla.
