Located 15 kilometres from Shimla, V Resorts Mashobra Greens is tucked deep inside pine forests, and is lined with apple orchards on one side and views of the snow-clad western Himalayan range on the other. The camp, comprising of tents and cottages, at an altitude of 7,100 feet, is an idyllic treat for nature-lovers.While the peace and solitude of this place are sure to win you over, head here for some amazing adventure activities (all trainers are certified, by the way).
From trekking to camping to paragliding and rappelling, there is a host of activities that will keep all types of thrill seeker, happy and content.Thats not all. There are accidental seasonal streams to surprise you, apple orchards to take a walk in, night treks, survival training modules if stuck in the woods, and rafting to test your stamina. And you can, of course, relish some delicious, undiscovered Himalayan delicacies, perfect to make your holiday truly memorable and unforgettable.

The first thing I wish to write is superb hospitality and a wonderful host. We a group of 42 friends visited this place recently and I have no reason to mention about any challenge here. Its a superb property a peaceful one... no shoe sharaba..... The owner and his entire team made our stay wonderful. They are good to manage large groups as well as families too. I saw since while our group there were other families were also staying and the team ensured every one enjoyed. The trekking and activities were well planned. I want to mention here that I got the opportunity to visit the Kitchen at Mashobara greens, it was neat and clean which is very rare to find. The Chef and his team are gentlemen. We planned to cook in jungle near water stream and the chef and his team ensured we have the best out of it. Arranged everything so well. Thank you once again and I will be there soon with my family. The property is located at around 3 km from Mashobra bus stop and it is very near to Shivpur village. If you dont have personal vehicle then reaching here will be an one adventurous outing. They have two kinds of stays I.e. tents and mud houses. All the rooms have breathtaking views of valley and jungles. Tents doesnt have private loo. So, I advise to go with mud house and cottages. The staff is very courteous and serves in great way. Food served is very fresh and has homely taste. I went for jungle walk cum trek and it was great experience. Thy also provid guided trek/walk.

Me and my wife visited Shimla in Feb '18, we had planned to visit Narkanda from Shimla but on drivers opinion we had to drop the Narkanda plan. It had snowed and roads to Hatu peak were closed. Hence we, on suggested opinion visited Mashobra which is 15kms from Shimla. I was told by driver that people who don't want to stay near crowded place like Shimla prefer Mashobra. It has some good resorts here. Our driver took us to Carignano Nature Park which locals better know and pronounce as CrackNano. This is not a place you would remember for long. There is nothing much except for a tree house and a steep walk of 300-400 meter. You can see sculpture built with almost amateur finesse. There is a tree house which you can climb, not a comfortable climb at all. All you can do is click pics, not because it's scenic but because there is nothing much you can do here. The ticket to this place is 20Rs/person and also a complimentary pass of 40Rs for the tree house which you will climb, as per their assumption . Not a must visit.
