This hotel was booked just as any other was not available. This is below average budget hotel and it doesn't have any amenity. In some of our rooms even fans were not available, bathing soaps too were not provided to all of our group. It is much more away from the main Shimla and there is no eatery around the hotel so one need to be dependent on in-house pantry (I would say instead of restaurant). But food is good and tasty little costly but as there is no option nearby so ...

Overall experience was great nice staff and nice food and view from room is awesome. Staff is very helpful to help with bike rentals taxi or basically anything u need, room are new and clean and peaceful and there was no hussel

Entrance was scary .....there were 2 people who were looking after reception , cooking and room service...they were full time busy in watching tv installed in reception area....our room was near the kitchen area and reception ...full night disturbance from kitchen and television sounds, those people were not at all interested in entertaing the guests...

I booked this hotel on the strength of the hotel reviews on Tripadvisor, and so wished I hadn't. Looking back at the reviews now, I wonder if there are two hotels with the same name, or whether there is some sort of scam going on. There is a review under speciality lodging that exactly mirrors my own experience - how I wish I'd seen this before booking my own stay... The hotel is situated down the hill about 5km from Shimla centre and we took a taxi from after arriving by train in the late evening. Check in was completed swiftly, albeit the guy on reception looked surprised to see us - as if he wasn't expecting anyone... The room we were given was pretty cold, but I thought that it would get warmer with some habitation. As it was late, we ate some food from the restaurant (small kitchen..!). I also requested an extra blanket as it was so cold! During the night, the noise was terrible. The room was right next to reception and it seemed that there were regular comings and goings, with the usual back and forth conversations. Paper thin walls didn't help. Next day, we asked for a heater as the room was so cold and were charged an extra 300 rupees - ridiculous! Also, there was no wifi whatsoever whilst we were there. The 2nd night was similar in that here were strange comings and goings during the night. I looked into reception after being woken at 3am to find that there were groups of people coming and going - almost like shift workers changing shifts! The cherry on the cake came when I received an email from booking.com saying that the hotel had indicated that we had not turned up for our booking - leading me to believe that there was something fishy going on! You have been warned!!!

Arrived Jan 22nd on our trip to shimla, booked on booking.com and the plot on the map bears no resemblance to where the hotel is actually situated, but the address is correct. When we found the hotel, it is down steps and between 2 buildings and we found this a little imposing. On entering 4 males busyied themselves on their phones, no welcome just an initial grunt and ID! That was it and back to watching TVs and their phones. We were showed 2 rooms, both freezing cold, the first had a shower but the shelfs were covered in dust and crap, bore no resemblance whatsoever to the pictures. It was next to reception and the noise of chattering boys an loud tv put us off and we asked to be moved. The second, was smaller but had no shower, a bucket was provided. This was not for us, we asked for a heater and they removed the one from the reception but this was too late as we had decided this was not for us. We collected our bags, and booked out. The receptionist called the owner and she offered to assist us by improving the situation, but I don't see how, the rooms were not suitable and were not what we had envisaged. Having stayed in far worse than this, it was not purely accommodation that made our decision to leave but staff rudeness. We moved on to a nearby hotel and had no issues.
