Reason For Rating : Little far from beach
A beautiful experience. Just what we were looking for
by Vikas222 on
We happened to book this place by chance. This is a very basic stay, with almost no luxury or amenities. If you are looking for a close-to-nature and CLEAN place to stay, visit this resort. It is well maintained, the staff is very cooperative. Note: there are no phones or extensions available for room service. But the staff can be called for by literally "calling out". The beach is a 5-min walk and food is available nearby in local house-style restaurants. Do enjoy the local cuisine, which is served with much courtesy and love. The ones we kept going again and again was Moonshine, run by the owner couple of the house, and Padghe shudh shakahari joint, both walkable distance. Savali resort is GREEN, rural, scenic, relaxing, clean, comfortable, and noise-free. Just want you want to unwind. For those who need to be connected all the time, airtel works best in shrivardhan.
Pathetic hotel and pathetic service
by DipakD6 on
Looking at the reviews from trip advisor i was under impression that this will give most value for money. We 2 families reached this hotel and the look was very rustic. I would say if you have stayed in good hotels then your kids will reject this one upfront. Nevertheless i did not pay premium for this only 1500 per room hence expected a descent service if not top class. The manager does not pick up the phone and attendants donot have any idea of your arrival. The rooms were avg but the bed was covered with a colour bed sheet you will not be able to make out when it was last cleaned. AC sounds like a Gen-set. They did not give us towels until asked in the next morning. The worst part is still left . Next morning it was raining. I heard a deep snoring sound and got up, thought my boys have been infected with cold, it was not. My wife told it is coming from the door the we peeped through the window, you will not believe it was a big snake with a frog in its mouth actually it was hissing sound of a big snake. These idiots donot have a bell even to call the attendant. I kept on hitting the door for quite some time, my wife and boys were scared. Helplessly we had to wait for the snake to leave the balcony. To our credit this place does not have any Mobile network - vodafone. The management is pathetic and no service at all. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Peaceful homely stay!
by LEOlife on
It's a bungalow converted into cottage stay.. It's a homely stay good for family, couple, friends.. They have good accommodation neat and clean. It's reasonable (affordable pricing). Friendly staff.. Praveen kaka is very helpful.. They have a small garden when you can chill out. It's not luxurious.. So don't expect it to be lavish and appealing.. But for sure it's a comfort stay.. Near to nagaon beach..
Nature at it's Best.

It was a great place to be with friends. Good accommodation, caring staff. Soothing environment with beautiful birds, flowers and variety of fruit trees around along with coconut and supari palms. Beach nearby was clean and also enjoyed water sports like Banana ride, water skiing and para sailing. The Best two days spent at Savli.

Very nice place to be; away from all your daily chaos and busy life. Calmness, Natural beauty around. Very near to the beach. Typical Konkan Food (especially fish) is a delight to have. Staff is very cooperative and helpful.
Rooms are pretty small and basic, but value for money. The greenery around is worth every penny.

Choose the rooms closer to tge end but then it does not really matter, the room tariff is not worth more THA 1200 tops in its current state in any season.

Nothing as good

Place is worth against the price, which has both Indian bathrooms as well as co-mote.
