rooms were good.. but not overwhelming..food quality was good... spent one night there... expected more professionalism from the employees,,,, communication should be more clear... otherwise it is very bitter experience for the travelers.

While returning from Gangtok I and my male friend decided to stay this hotel just to spend the night in NJP as we had to catchbthe morning shatabdi at 5.30.We were denied a stay coz we were unmarried ...I mean are u serious ..we were from a different city for tourisn purpose and being denied for a room knowing the same was unacceptable .There is no law that prohibits unmarried couples from staying together in hotels. Choosing to stay together is a personal choice and falls under freedom of movement, which cannot be restricted.I am going to escalate this further to other social platforms as well.The manager is cheap..weird arrogant and with the least knowledge about currebt affairs I am sure

What is the point of having good facilities when the receptionist is rude and doesnt deserve to be there? Booked a couple room for my parents through Oyo Rooms customer care service. Had Oyo rooms disclosed the name of the hotel before booking, I wouldn't have booked. Previous reviews speaks the truth. OYO rooms booked it under my name with a note saying my parents will me occupying the rooms and not me. When I spoke the Hotel staff, he did not agree to it and lied about the note that was mentioned by Oyo staff. He said, "Room nahi h" when I called to enquire about the booking name confusion. I said, "Room has already been booked" to which he responded saying, "ek room unke liye rakha tha, tum kaise book kiye", referring to someone else. (Clear indication to make extra cash undertable). Had to run behind OYO room CC multiple times to ensure everything went on smooth. Thanks to the patient oyo customer care team. Next, I booked the room from 12PM on 15th June but occupied the room at 4PM on 15th which was conveyed to the OYO room CC. Oyo rooms offered a two hour extra complimentary stay at the hotel, i.e we were asked to check out by 1PM the following day. This information was repeatedly conveyed to the manager through phone/email by OYO CC. The manager again lied about the complimentary extension from oyo rooms and behaved rude with my parents. They had to ultimately vacate the place at 11AM. Facilities were good but very pathetic service/hospitality from the manager. Request fellow travelers to never book Hotel Balaji inn at Siliguri. Request Oyo rooms to reveal the hotel name/reviews beforehand (Though I understand the business perspective behind not revealing). Request the management of Balaji Inn to kindly look into it. I will be writing a detailed blog post and Vlog about the entire fiasco caused by the Hotel staff. (Shall link it here, if reviews can be edited later)

This is the second time I stayed in this hotel, looks like owner of this hotel has changed,this time,I could see change in room ambience ,person in reception was serious looking guy. Room was decent, service was fine too.But the morning service ruined my mood, I ordered alu Pharatha for breakfast, to my suprise, I got chilli paratha.which was annoying.And I must say, food rate are very high too.

We booked this room because of OYO. Please Please stay away from this one..I could even tolerate the stinking rooms and dirty mats and curtains but the attitude of the guy in reception was intolerable.
