Comfortable stay at a central location in Siliguri
by DipakJivnani on
Stayed for a night at this hotel with family, while returning back from Sikkim. We did not have any bookings as the transit stay at Siliguri happened unplanned. We just arrived at reception, looked at the offered room and checked in. Room was not spacious, but adequate for our family of 3 with an extra mattress arrangement. Room service was prompt & courteous. We had our dinner also at hotel Restaurant and food quality was very good. Location is close to central bus terminus and on a busy road. However, sleep quality was good. Overall very good budget accommodation and recommended for stay at Siliguri.
Great value - location for onward travel

Arrived in Siliguri after overland travel from Bangladesh. Really enjoyed the comfort and location of this hotel - stayed in a non A/C fan room but not hot. Food available nearby and did not eat in the restaurant there. Shared jeeps to Darjeeling just up from the hotel and Sikkim permit office nearby. Staff were friendly, gave good advice, arranged for a beer to be brought to my room, planning to stay again here when I return to Siliguri. Just off busy Hill Cart Rd. Noisy etc. but great transit location.
Good Hotel but no sense of belonging
by dbsgi on
This is good for a transit hotel stay. I have reviewed this hotel before, and I came back to it after two years, and I still find the service at the reception very very distant. The others try to make up for it, but the one person at the reception, Mr Nepal is a rude fellow and takes you for granted.. I did complain to the senior manager about his behaviour this tiime, hopefully there will be changes. I had wanted some extra time for check out, which the people in the reception had agreed, the previous night..However this particular gentleman, called me when I was at work, and insisted, that I come back and check out buy 12.30!! Not done at all!! Was very disappointed, in a hotel, that otherwise has decent rooms and good meals.
For the reasonable price - well worth it

Location, location, location. This hotel is in the heart of Siliguri with close proximity to all corners of the city. The two Malls - City Center & Cosmos is within a 15 minute driving distance. The staff were warm & friendly, breakfast & meals were reasonably good. Of course it needs renovations & the mosquito problem needs to be dealt with. On the whole, for the reasonable price, it was well worth it!
Clean, affordable, good food

Great place for a stop over, exceeded expectations. Very clean room, comfy beds, hot water, TV and affordable. Super friendly staff and restaurant did a great dinner, tasty and big portions - veg kolapuri was awesome. Right next to bus station and jeeps up to Darjeeling are literally just outside the hotel. Overall a great commuter hotel.
Choose rooms in he 2nd floor, if you have to,stay here. Not for a long stay. Transit stay recommended.

Wifi available in the lobby & restaurant only. But if you have rooms on the 1st floor, you might be able to catch a faint signal.

Rooms on 2nd floor are best
by SumantaMoitra on July 21, 2015
Ask for rooms facing away from the main road, as far back as possible to reduce the noise from the traffic.
