It's a real old hotel but very well maintained. I went to Kasali alone and stayed in this hotel for one night. I booked it there only after checking the rooms and they charged me Rs 800 after a bit bargain. There are a very few hotels inside Kasauli. In online booking websites show Kasauli as their location but they are far off from the place. So please check before booking. This place is located in the heart of the city and offers great budget stay even for families.

It's a pretty cool place and the view is really good from the balcony. The owner is really humble. If you are with a group or if you are a couple, this place is pretty decent and does not cost much...

Hotel is very nice but i had to pay more for it. Rooms are small but cosy and clean. One has to walk uphill around 50 steps to reach the market. Room service is good. one can enjoy good customized food here.

its by far the most economical place.....we plannned for 2 days...ended up being for 2 more! the food and the staff are really good and helpful! we couldnt complain about anything but the room....which i thought were quite small. its towards the end .....so a steep road to climb to get to the main market....other than that! its good for backpackers!

Went to Kasauli for a weekend getaway in the month of November and stayed at Hotel Gian. Well, to be honest, it a very basic hotel with minimum required amenities like a double bed, television, hot water. But for the price it takes, its extremely good value for money. The manager of the hotel is a very helpful man and knows the place quite well. Hotel does have a restaurant that cooks dinner only based on pre booked orders. Food is basic and tastes like homemade but its hygienic, most importantly. I would recommend people with a small budget visiting kasauli to definitely explore this option.
