    Very bad expression for hotel barzman I paid advance before last year 2016, Kashim & Ali (Hotel Owner ) Say Your Booking is done , come at my hotel no problem. When i reach the Hotel 12th July, there is one idiot gye name of mausam he say no booking here, i told them i paid 13000 advance, he say no booking and he told me get out from my hotel, i will kill you, rascal boy is very dirty, no experience, how to talk to customer , he say, never come to my hotel if you will see you i will kill, i was so shock, my amarnath yatra was very disturbed when i told mr, ali , your hotel manager say go out my hotel, he say ok. get out.. I never requirement for any traveller in this hotel.

    The hotel has 2 blocks - for better views take a room in the 2nd block. Rooms are small but come with electric blankets though most of the time there is no electricity here. There is a TV in the room and the views are god too (only from 2nd block - that too few rooms only). For meals you will have to go to the 1st block but they are adjacent so there is not much walking. Food is good & served hot. But here you have no phone connections, no wifi, data services & also no electricity most of the time. Bt you cant complain & phone & internet connections have been cut by the govt. due to safety issues. Climate is good here so you wont feel the need for electricity in day & during night unless you need lights or TV for which they do use generators in required hours.

    The hotel is located at the best location in sonamarg. It is completely surrounded by snow smeared mountains from all the sides and has the stream flowing in the backdrop. The rooms are big and spacious with the staff being extremely humble and helpful at all times.The stay in Burzman Hotel was really enjoyable and pleasant and had made our trip to sonamarg a really memorable one!!

    After a long journey from Srinagar to Sonamargh we reach a beautiful scenic spot just in between the Ice Mountains, Hotel Barzman. It was chill and we were received with a warm smile and hot Khawa by the friendly staff and gentle owner of the property Mr Ali. We were taken to the rooms with beautiful interiors, of walnut wood carved furniture and carpeted rooms. My aged father had also accompanied us. Unfortunately due to some maintenance work by the local authorities there was no power supply throughout our stay, thus affecting the connectivity and temperature. The staff and the management took care of us by running power generators. We do understand how difficult it is to run a business under such conditions with low occupancy rate. It is the generosity of Mr Ali to burn fuel in altitudes with a smile, just to take care his guests. Though the food was little expensive, we did not see any compromise with the quality, quantity and standards of hygiene in serving meals. All this gave us back the value for money what we had spent. I would happily recommend my friends to visit this beautiful place and of course Barzman.

    Stayed there for one night on 13th September with elders. We were five people in total The ambience and hotel itself was very good The owner was very welcoming and fulfilled all our requirements Would definitely recommend it

  • Is there a cancellation policy for Hotels booked on Yatra?

    The cancellation policy for hotel bookings varies according to hotel and room type. For more information, please check the cancellation policy mentioned next to the price for the room type. If you are cancelling after the check-in date, there will be no refund. In all cases, you'll be charged a standard cancellation fee of Rs. 250 per booking over and above the hotel's own cancellation charges.
