  • Stay With Nature!

    by Hari22nair on

Please take rooms by the valley. Its so rich and enchanting. I loved the stay here. Went near the river. Sat down for hours together till it was evening. Stay with nature is the theme.Excellent View And very humble staff. Hospitality runs in their blood. Thank you team Snowland

  • Staff is very rude

    by Saqib_Reshi on

We had visited there for lunch on 6 june 2019. Staff is very rude. They don't know how to deal with clients. As we were eating our lunch they forced us to leave it mid way giving reasons that some other guests are coming. If they knew that already then why didn't the manager said that first. Total rude behaviour by manager.

  • Great Room, Food with Stunning Views

    by Aniket_citi on

A large property, there is a lot to be said about this place. Firstly, about the room. The Deluxe room was large and had a nice diwan, apart from double bed. There was a room heater, as well as electric blanket in the room, to beat the biting cold of Sonmarg nights. Washroom was spacious and clean and hot water aplenty. This room had an amazing view of the Sindhu river, which flows behind the hotel. Secondly, food. We had breakfast and dinner (included in the package) at this hotel. the format of the meals was unique - a lot of items would be served to you on the table. In a way, a buffet is served at every table! Breakfasts had stuffed parathas, chhole bhature, sabzi, bread omelette, upma, pohe etc alongwith chai and kahwa. Dinner would have one veg dish, one non veg dish, dal, chapati, rice, salad, papad and dessert. Every single item we had in every single meal was excellent. Under the able leadership of Mr Nazeer Ahmed, the F&B Manager, Chefs Thapa and Ahmed do a commendable job. Thirdly, service: Everything about the room - cleanliness, billing etc were ably attended to by Showkat Bashir, the Front Office Manager and other staffs. Finally, property: The front of the property has a view of the Thajiwas glacier and Sonmarg meadow, the prime attractions people come to Sonmarg for. There is a huge and well maintained garden at the back, which overlooks the river. It is one gem of a property, very well maintained. Everything about this stay was excelled and would want to visit again.

  • Lunch at Hotel Snow Land

    by A9NAIR on

Took a pit stop at Hotel Snow Land on our way to SonaMarg from Srinagar. We had one of the best Kashmiri food experience here. We ordered a number of dishes, both Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian, and all of them were decent and filling. To top all of this were the beautiful "VIEWS" from the hotel.
