What's Good: hotel was sealed by local authority & some rooms are opened by landlord illegally, one of them is our room .

After a long search I found this hotel as a best hotel with many advantages. 1. Very nice hotel with budget price and all facility. 2. Beautiful, wide, clean, ventilated rooms 3. Nice and helpful staff 4. Dalgate is walk-able distance. 5. Three (3) number of veg restaurant is just opposite of the hotel (with jain, gujrati, punjabi and south Indian thali system) 6. Beautiful Durga temple is there just opposite of the hotel. 7. Back side of the hotel Tourist reception center and Bus Taxi stand is there. 8. Walk-able distance to Dalgate market and boating gate. 9. Easily available local transport from main road, outside the hotel. 10. From Dalgate to Lalchok - ghota ghar (market) is very near and the bus fare is five rupees only. 11. Hotel owned car facility is there for local trip. In short....this is very nice hotel for staying at Srinagar.

Booking ID GDQJ3971 Hotel City Plaza Srinagar When I was booking this hotel. there were very bad reviews. But I was Assured a promised by you and your colleague's sitting in Srinagar that the management of this hotel has changed. When my guest checked in in the hotel they were given the worst rooms in the hotel which was not used for at least 6 months the carpet was stinking, wall all broken pictures are attached in the mail when we requested for the room change. The hotel staff said its full. The hotel staff in front of my customer said Oyo guests get these rooms only and you have pay extra for different rooms. After contacting you on phone after this mental harassment. we were shifted to little better rooms where in some rooms light was not working. one room had no electricity. wall paint all coming out The condition of breakfast was so bad. that even bus stands stalls are better hygiene and serve us better. the menu was bread jam butter and paratha bread not toast. the paratha was not cooked properly. The best part after serving two parathas each. He started giving plain ones. Saying aloo is finished Again that idiot manager says ... OYO GUEST GETS THIS ONLY. Pictures are attached in mail. Plus I demand the full refund of the booking.

This is the worst hotel I have seen in my life. We had to spent two nights (22 and 23 June 2016) in this hotel. It was a horror. We had to wait at the front desk from 1.30 pm to 2.30 pm at the reception for check in, because there were already around 25 people gathered and the front office was not able to allocate rooms. Without seeing my booking receipt they told us to wait. I requested to speed up process and we have an 18 month old baby we have to prepare food for him and prepare him for sleep as we were tired after long travel. But no avail. The front office guys attitude didnt allow them to check my booking receipts and they thought I am a part of the long queue waiting there for check-in. I lost my patience after waiting for 1 hour and had to raise my voice to invite their attention. They took my booking receipt and they informed me that as per their record I had no booking in their hotel. This is a shame for Trip Advisor and Booking.com. Lastly after several rounds of their internal discussion, they arranged one top floor 3rd class room for us. It was really a nightmare for us and my wife was literally went upset seeing the room and the facilities inside. Fan was not properly working and it was too hot. None of the facilities informed on the website (booking.com) while was not available in the property. I can write a horror story in many volumes about the unprofessional services and the backwardness in the management of the hotel, however, due to my the restrictions, I want to write check-in and check-out examples. I made the payment through my credit card and they were not ready to give me the original receipt. After my objection they gave me a copy. I insisted for the original bill and they told me that they have to retain original copy to submit to booking.com. It was too funny ! Then I had to deliver a lecture to convince that gentleman at the front desk that it was a simple accounting practice to give receipt to the person from whom you receive payment. I really think the hotel management should give some sort of training to all the guys at the front desk. The most interesting fact is, even after all these ridiculous situation and difficulties they served to me, wife and our baby, there was not even a simple word of apology while we leaving nor a good bye !I strongly recommend TripAdvisor and Booking.com for a direct feedback survey to de-list worst properties. I am writing this because I read some good reviews about the property, however, when I visited the property my experience was different. Also, I had two other properties during my trip to Kashmir and both were excellent. One I booked thru booking.com and another thru a different vendor.

Hi guys. This is one of the most pathetic hotels that I have booked through makemytrip. Cost-2200.mmt offer-1400. Not even worth giving a star to this hotel. Pros:- still thinking Cons:- 1)took the hotel 45 min for my check in . Then I was told to wait for another 30 min as the room was not ready. Interiors were poor. Toilets were dirty. 2) entered the room and found the toilet flush wasn't working and there was no water through the sink tap. 3) as I had a long day travel I needed a bath. I checked into the room around 3:30-4 pm. To my surprise there was no hot water. I called up the reception and asked them abt it. They replied that hot water comes only from 7-12 in the morning. I queried what if a person makes a late check in and needs a shower. To my surprise he replied "even we take shower in cold water. Aap bhi le lijiye"( which I unfortunately had to). I was shocked and told them you are running a hotel not a sulabh shauchalay. I went down to talk to the owner of the hotel. And to my surprise even he was obstinate. He was explaining me that even 5* hotels don't provide hot water after certain time during the day. I understood it was useless to carry on the discussion any further. This is a hotel run by amateurs. I will certainly not recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank God I only had a one night stay here. Run Run Run as far as possible away from this hotel.

It is a very bad hotel and does not give any basic amenity promised..we stayed for 3 days as we had no other choice.. There is water crisis in the hotel.. No proper fans..wifi not working.. One plus point is that it is opposite Sri Krishna Vaishno dhaba which is a wonderful dhaba to eat in Srinagar
