    The hospitality overall was good but there is one area of improvement. When we reached the location, we were not given a warm welcome. We stood outside and they checked our name in the record. They called someone and then we were called in. When the houseboat could accommodate only 3 guests at a time with only 3 rooms, that much time in checking names, booking ID reference numbers and then cross checking on phone should not be needed. When we were there, only one more guest was there. So the staff should have been aware about our arrival and should have offered a warm welcome, which was missing. But once we got settled, the overall experience was fantastic!

    One of the best house boats to stay at Dal lake with outstanding service and best of the people. Owner Mr Naseer, Service head Mr Basheer are the best of the people we met during our Kashmir visit. Their help in arranging our onward journey to Pahalgam etc was optimally priced and could get us the best of experience. Thanks alot the team and we shall return shortly.

    very good hospitality. NAZIR BHAI the owner is a real guide and very good person, houseboat is well maintained. enjoyed food and very cooperative staff. distance traveled to houseboat by shikara ride was unique and make as feel awsuemmm

    I cannot speak for the other boats because I have not seen them,but my stay at the Sea Palace was brilliant. I stayed at the 'New Sea Palace', which has two rooms and a common room and is perfect if you are in a family of four. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Fresh towels, blankets etc are provided. In fact, there had been heavy rainfall at the time we were there leading to the temperatures plummeting - the rooms were still comfortable and warm. It gets very quiet at night and I do not recall having slept as soundly in a long time. The toilets are a little clamped but are clean and have hot running water readily available. The TV works well and you get 'taxi shikaras' which will take you to the land(Ghat No. 9) for as little as Rs. 20 per person. The service is very good and the people are ready to help you get Shikaras etc. Great place to stay overall.

    We stayed in Miss America Houseboat which is part of this group. It was owned by Wasim Bhai. We went on Id so staff was not there. Wasim bhai took entire responsibility. Rooms were nice and clean. Furniture was also good. Their Shikara wala Major Chacha was a nice man to talk to. Overall it was wonderful experience.

  • Is there a cancellation policy for Hotels booked on Yatra?

    The cancellation policy for hotel bookings varies according to hotel and room type. For more information, please check the cancellation policy mentioned next to the price for the room type. If you are cancelling after the check-in date, there will be no refund. In all cases, you'll be charged a standard cancellation fee of Rs. 250 per booking over and above the hotel's own cancellation charges.
