Zaffer group of houseboats! Where tranquillity meets luxury! Thanks to the natural beauty and people with high standards in hospitality! Getting to a place to have nice Kashmiri and Indian meals according to your preference. Neat and clean! Having staff members with experience that can guide you to the most relaxing or challenging spots around Kashmir. From trout fishing and duck shooting to a smoot trekking to the mountains of Himalayas

Me and my family went to Kashmir hoping to spend an amazing family holiday and zaffer houseboats made sure that we could do so. The stay was extraordinary with the amazingly beautiful ambience of the houseboats. The houseboat was well maintained and the staff was extremely polite and friendly. Adding on to comfort of the boat and wonderful service of the staff were the delicious meals and possibly the most beautiful environment. Thank you for making our stay memorable. Would love to visit Kashmir again and spend more time at your houseboat.

The Good thing is that the houseboats were situated in the Nagin lake which was away from all the noise and crowd. Very peaceful ... honeymoon couple should choose the honeymoon suite on flic. Good Food and very peaceful

Best place to stay , totally impressed by the service and the decore. The Jaffar hgouseboats has six boats, the one named 'calcutta' looked pathetic. All jafar houseboats are in the middle of the lake and offer a great view . The boat we stayed in was named 'Jaffar' it has beautiful carving and a royal dining and livng area had 4 beadrooms, one of which had a four post bed. All rooms have attached bathrooms with bath tubs. We had all the boat to our selfs and had a ton of fun playing cards in the living room . The roof of the boat is accessible and makes a perfect place if you prefer to do yoga in morning. Food is average and is served in a dining hall outside on the land in a small dining tent , nonveg food is available upon prior request ( we intimated a day before). There is a paper mache artifact shop near by selling saffron and other arty stuff at hiked up price . If you really like something to buy , bargain well . There are all types of sellers visiting and approaching you if u sit in the front open area of the boat from semi precious stone jewelry vendors to pashmina. bargain well. Electricity is for a limited time , in night they run on Gen set .
