We were 2 families of 4 adults and 2 kids, and we could not have asked for a better place to stay. In the middle of a chilling christmas weekend, we were apprehensive of the facilities. We had contacted them for a end to end package tour , from pickup and drop at home, to exclusive boat. Though there was a lot left to be desired in the pickup and arrangements in the rest of the package, we had no complaints on the hotel and the cruise. Its a very cozy place to stay, with well mannered and caring staff, and a willingness to help and engage guests in activities like bonfire and bonfire barbeque. The cottage rooms were cozy and huge (larger than necessary for a small family). The food they served for snacks, lunch and dinner was decently good, and comforting on a winter day. Proper bengali lunch and dinner. We also requested them for a bonfire in the evening, which they obliged to with nominal extra charge, and also volunteered to cook chicken over the bonfire, with some more charge. It was beyond good!! Overall a good stay. I have only limited my review to the hotel, and not to the package tour, which was slightly disappointing to styart with because of delayed pickup (and the customer POC Ms Jhumpa trying to pass off the delay and unavailability of the boat as our fault though it was a slip on them), irresponsible driving by the driver, not giving us exclusive boats though promised (on Day 1). The rest of the tour, including the food, stay and cruise on Day 2 was something to come back for!!

We were a group of 23 family members. We enjoyed our stay fully. We requested them to arrange for Bisleri water as the area does not have drinking water facilities. We even washed our mouth wlth water from 20 L can. This was helpful as we had no stomach problem. They served hot lunch in the boat and also freshly prepared hot tea and coffee. We were all very happy as this place gave us a Family get together of all ages from 4yrs old to 83 yr old member.

The resort is accessed by an easy walk from the jetty. The resort is well laid out the rooms are neat and very spacious (with two double beds) and have an attached bathroom, and there is a central dining area that has a covered thatched roof and open pillared sides that makes for a comfortable space for meals. The staff is courteous and go out of their way to serve guests- from morning tea to snacks on returning from a cruise, breakfast/lunch/ dinner at the resort or on the boat. The resort staff came on board the boat that was taking us for a cruise and provided hot tea, breakfast and lunch on board. Their thoughtfulness and effort made all the difference to our memorable trip to Sundarban.

We did a 2N3D Sunderban trip with them. The rooms were big and clean. Food was very tasty and of good quality. The boat provided for the tour was very well maintained with helpful and knowledgeable guides. Special mention for the staff, they were very helpful and co-operative.

We had booked a package tour to the Sunderbans for 2 nights and 3 days as a group of 9. The entire experience was just lovely. We stayed at Solitary Nooks from 10-12 March 2018. The helper staff is so cooperative that they would cook whichever dish you want them to cook. The food is homely and fantastic in taste. Which electricity is a challenge in the Sunderbans, the place is well managed. The rooms are neat and clean. They provide warm water on request. A lovely trip.
