Located alongside the river bed of Kapila Cauvery River in Mudukuthore Talakadu, Raya Resort is a 3-star accommodation option for travellers. The environs of the resort are serene and peaceful and provide respite from the never-ending rush of big cities.

Up to 100 people can be accommodated in the conference hall at one time and the seating arrangement can be changed as per the requirements of guests. The in-house kitchen of the hotel dishes out scrumptious vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, mainly from the South Indian platter.Different room types at the resort include Economic Class Room, Club Room, Deluxe Room and Executive Room.
The well-furnished rooms are brightly lit up and have attached bathrooms with modern fittings and luxury toiletries. During the stay at Raya resort, guests can take part in numerous indoor and outdoor games like boating, sand volleyball, basketball, table tennis, chess, darts and umpteen others.

We stayed here for one day. Rooms are good and river facing. Staff is very good and attentive. Food options were limited but very tasty. They arranged bonfire with music and lighting. Complimentary snacks were served which were awesome. Staff is very honest l left my mobile by mistake which was kept safely and returned to me. Indoor and outdoor games are good. Water sports are the usp of the resort. All the equipments are new and we'll maintained.

It is a beautiful little property right by the river. There is a huge lawn with really big trees giving you the shade that you need. - The drive from Bangalore, you have 2 options. One is via Kanakpura and the other is via Bangalore Mysore road. - The drive will take you 2.5 to 3 hours. - Ample parking space available - Check-in and service are top-notch. Very friendly staff and manager. - Rooms are basic and do not boast of luxury but then again, you do not need luxury for a one-night getaway. It has a working A/c and a power back up generator. No issues there. - They have lots of activities available - Volleyball - Badminton Court - Mini Archery - Carroms and Chess - Dart board - Kayaking - Pedal Boats - Motor boat (Speed boat) ** - Motor scooter - ** - Camp fire and an open air dance floor right by the river (along with your cocktail snacks) - Dependent on weather conditions. Coming to the best part. The food.. the package includes all meals. The cook's here Mr Mahadev and Jagadish is just awesome. It was an amazing spread. It's a simple menu but very tasty food. There is a difference in cooking for the heck of it and cooking with a passion. This was the latter. The cocktail snacks, for instance, was Peanut Masala,Baby Corn Manchurian, chilli chicken and FISH KEBAB. The manager here, Mr Mahesh, he does a brilliant job in overseeing operations and delivering to satisfy the customers. I love this place and I am already planning an official off-site from the company.
Treasure Hunt- Find it, it'll be worth it.

2nd Visit and was not the last visit though, an amazing monsoon getaway spot about 3hrs drive from Bangalore. Special thanks to Aditya and his team who stood out to ensure an hassel free stay for my team of 5 folks. Starting from the check-in where the manager walked out till the gate to receive us, breakfast, boat rides and almost everything went super smooth as planned, the team didn't fell through any cracks. It's been a week since I visited and still cherishing all the good memories. Keep up the good job team Raya, will be back soon.
