We had booked 2 rooms for our family for 2 days after reading reviews on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. The rooms were spacious, had nice interiors & cozy beds and while it had a business touch, it suited us just fine. The restaurant was the other highlight - the food was really good and they customized it for our kids as well. In general, the entire staff at the hotel and restaurant was very helpful and courteous. The beach was hardly 5 min walking distance and for the other activities - water sports /boat ride etc. - the person came directly to hotel to pick us up. So this location also worked well for us. This is not a resort, so if you are planning to just stay in the room/hotel premises then you wont have much to do. But its a great place for family for overnight stay, good food and lot of fun/beach activity at short distance. Definitely value for money.

Decent Amenities, and specious room. Most importantly, very very courteous and polite staff. Go for the food here, 5 stars for Food and restaurant service. Fantastic surmai, bangda, pompret fishes! Do try dal tadka and jeera rice as well.

I picked this property after reading reviews and most reviews were positive, the location looked perfect on map and room pics look good. But here are some things I will list down which will help you make a decision. 1. Location - it is located in Tarkarli however there is no direct connect to the beach. Secondly, even if there was a connect to the beach, there is nothing at tarkarli beach, no shacks, no restaurants, nothing, just one scuba diving facility which I think is better than any other in this area. But the hotel is located exactly between two points of interest, 1. Malvan - which is about 6/7 kms north and 2. Deobaug - which is 6/7 kms south. There are no medical stores, no shopping, no wine shops, nothing around the hotel. One can hire a moped, reception facilitates it at 350 per day, fill up petrol yourself as per your usage. It is of great use to commute to any nearby place anytime. But its not viable for families and elderly people. Renting a car is not worth it at all as hardly a distance of 12-15 kms (return) needs to be travelled towards either Malvan and Deobaug and renting car will cost you about 2200-2500 per day. So is I'll suggest this hotel to people who are traveling with their own transport and do not need a good view from their rooms. There is nothing to look out from the windows. 2. Facilities - I stayed in a deluxe room. It was spacious and well equipped. Tea coffee maker was there but they provide premixed tea and coffee sachets only. There is no swimming pool, no kids play area. No games. No hammocks. No outdoor sitting. We were on 1st floor and there were no openable windows either. However, the hotel has an industrial strength generator which supports ac as well during power outage. 3. Restaurant - It's just a hut with 6 to 8 tables. Nothing exceptional. The wash basin was always dirty in the restaurant and was a big put off. We only went there for breakfast. All other meals were ordered to the room. The food options are limited but whatever food available is pretty decent. Thalis are to go for. But the best thing that I found in this hotel, the only one reason I would go back to this hotel is its solkadi. It is by far the best solkadi I have ever tasted and this is not an exaggeration. They make it purely out of coconut milk and no dairy product is used. 4. Cleanliness and Rooms- When we checked in I noticed that the sink wasn't clean. It had dried food stains and even particles of food. I immediately called reception and had it cleaned. Apart from that the rest of the property is pretty clean and tidy, except the wash basins in the restaurant, they were filthy. However I couldn't help but notice small things like the top shelves of the wardrobe not wiped as they had dust settled. The mirror had finger prints from before we checked in and they were never wiped clean during out 3 nights of stay. I didn't complain about these things and didn't ask them to clean as these things need to be done by default and I hate nagging for little things. They run the hotel and they should know how to keep a room clean. Another uncomfortable situation is in the bathrooms. I don't know what they were thinking when they approved the design. The bathrooms of two rooms are aligned between those two rooms in such a way that you can have a conversation between two bathrooms even by whispering. Not a good feeling when you are sitting on the pot and you know there is someone in the other bathroom who can hear every little sound coming from your toilet. Also, there is an exhaust fan installed in the bathroom but it doesn't work because they have disconnected the wires connecting it. When asked why the exhaust fans don't work, they said that guests used to leave exhaust fans on forever and that resulted in them burning out and they had to be changed. So now they have simply pulled out the wires so that exhaust fans wont work. If they won't work they won't have to be replaced. Thus solving the problem. Brilliant, isn't it?

We found the hotel by accident. It is near new and very clean and tidy. Rooms are very comfortable, the staff are all friendly and helpful, especially Kamlesh at the desk. We felt totally at home and were sorry to leave after 4 nights. Beach is 5 min walk. Restaurant has delicious Indian food & room service is available.

Although nearby north Goa has many good hotels, there are very few choices in south Maharashtra and Malvan. This hotel can be your base for exploring the many lovely beaches and even Amboli Sawantwadi and north Goa. Nice and clean rooms and a good restaurant tick all that one can ask for. Cell signals are tough to get and hotel lacks wifi. Hotel arranged a car through Jaywant Sawant for pickup from Kudal station (we took vestibule bogey in Jan Shatabdi from Mumbai) and drop at Goa airport. All site seeing was also done in car provided by him. You can call him on 9370800212. The Zantye cashew nuts shop in the premises is a bonus.
