What's Good: location, service
What needs to improve : food, I have visited many hotels, believe me food is not good
Reason For Rating : location of the Hotel is good. Tawang Market and Bus stand, Auto stand are at walking distance. Staff at the hotel are good and helpful. However, the food if not good at all. They have lot of items in the menu but taste was not good at all. Hotel needs to be more professionally managed.

We stayed here for 2 nights. No view form the hotel room. Rooms are basic. Food was good. Each room had room heater which was essential in the cold. One has to keep geyser running all time due to frequent power outages.

A very good spot to explore Tawang. The room was basic, one real problem was in spite of booking a de lux room, we had no view whatsoever in spite of it having the most amazing surroundings. The food was very good, and generous portions. Every single member of staff was very cheerful and very helpful. The one problem which bothered us a lot was the constant power outages.

Decent hotel. Staff was good. Food was decent as per tawang standards. Ambience was decent. Good area for parking and camp fire. Rooms are large and a family can easily fit in without any problem. Overall good experience

Not atall suitable for stay in the Hills. This part of India still lacks proper Hospitality and care . They are really still go with 18th Century services .There is not even a mirror in the room. 2 hotels in Tawang stayed but just horrible experience.

As we travel from Gauhati to Tawang we need to stay at small towns, these are just opening up to tourist and so the standard of hotels available is just about 2 Star. Tashi is good on many counts and that's why I recommend this hotel Location - its within walking distance of the market area. This is important because after the days sight seeing you will have time on your hands and it is a good idea to walk to the market and try out the restaurants or just browse trough the bazaar. Rooms are spacious - I stayed in a deluxe room - it is neat and clean. The bed linen is spotless but with ecruish tinge to be expected of 2 star category. The bathroom is also clean and water pressure in the shower is good. The staff is pleasant and will address all your issues quickly Breakfast which is included in tariff at most of these hotels is standard fare and decent - toast, eggs and corn flakes , poori / paratha, upma / poha - tea n coffee Another plus is they have a 24 hrs back up generator so the room heater and geyser are on all time and this helps as the temperature can drop to single digits at night even during summer
