It is very basic facility. Except bed you will not get any thing else. Yes staff is nice and very helpful. You don't see any animal or birds here. Please don't take mild rapid rafting, as it is nothing but boat ride in river .at least we have not seen anything in Nameri national park.

Do not go there if you are expecting five star facility. Do not go there if you are not ready to live with the nature. Do not go there if you are not keen to understand and respect the local endemic rich culture, flora, and fauna. But if you want a homely warmth at a facility adjacent to national park, please visit. If you are ready to taste local vegetables and fish, go there. If you want to experience tribes and communities which are special to this juncture of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh, please go there. If you need very important guidance, arrangement, and tips on visiting the national park by foot and by raft, please go there. Believe me, you would not be repenting, ever. Subhalakshmi and I booked them for two nights initially. We ended up spending four nights there. The flexibility and warmth extended by Mr. Binod Sarma, is incomparable. We wanted a boatman with local aviafauna knowledge - we got it. We wanted our lunch delivered at national park for our day long trek - we got it at right time. We wanted to taste local fish - we got it at our table. I shall be neglectful if I do not mention the excellent team Mr. Sarma has built in this remote village. All of them are local - from every community living around - Ahom, Rajbanshi, Mishing, Nyishi. They may not be the best trained hotel employees in the world - but their smiling face and ever readiness to please you always is not received anywhere. I would like to mention one of them especially - Mr. Sukleshwar Kush. He is an allrounder. He was our boatman in rafting. We served us lunch at the park at noon. He was our local guardian at tribal villages around in search of excellent Miri handloom and fabulous Nyishi oryok. He was a primary ingredient for having such an excellent time in Nameri. Without any hesitation, we shall recommend this place to any like-minded traveller - at least as long as Mr. Sarma is managing Jia Bhorelli Wild Resort.

The resort is now in private hands from being a Government of Assam Property a few years back. There are about 5-6 individually spread cottages and two 2-storey cottages each priced at Rs. 2300 including GST , slightly on the higher side. Bookings can be done in advance by transferring the booking amount via NEFT to their designated account, a regular practice nowadays if online booking method is unavailable. Prices at the Eco camp is Rs 200-300 less with authentic facilities and beautiful natural surroundings. The wide open lawns of the resort are shabbily maintained with unkempt gardens. Food delicacies served at the Assamese hut-style sitting area are quite average with limited options. Transportation arranged from a local staff named Prabhakar cost 100 bucks each to the Jia Bhorelli river towards going to the Avi-fauna rich Nameri National Park from the resort, while a drop to the Guwahati airport by Dezire cost us 3600 bucks. Although the experience at staying at the cottage was satisfactory, the rooms and the surrounding need urgent renovation and touch-ups to compete with the better equipped eco camp, located about 150-200 mtrs. away. So It is fair to say that this resort is the second best hangout option and its up to you to decide about your staying options based on availability , when you visit Nameri.

Duration of Stay 4th to 6th Jan 2018 There are five hotels/camps in Nameri and Jia Bhorali is one of them. Its 3.5 km from the Nameri bus stop and 2.1 km from the river. Its located very close to Nameri Eco Camp. While the Eco Camp is located right on the main road connecting bus stop to river, Jia Bhoreli is a little inside (1 km). The road leading to the resort is very scenic with farmlands, village huts and hills at distance. The resort itself has cottages placed around the restaurant area. There are also empty space to walk around in inside the boundary of hotel. Cottages look simple with a small veranda for each. Quality of the place is in line with what you can expect from a government property. The walls are faded at places, taps are often leaking etc. But the rooms are kept clean and basic amenities are provided including hot water. Food is very average and could have been better. Staffs are polite. I found the place quite worth for the price range and also the location for this resort might be most beautiful amongst all camps at Nameri.
