It's a nice place to visit and stay if you want to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. The staff is from the local village but are very decent, loyal and humble. My wife forgot her phone in the room during checkout but one of the housekeeping staff brought it and gave it to her on the reception. Rooms are very nice and clean. The only thing which I think should be taken care of by the owners is the dusting of the premises and should add some sign boards indicating directions of rooms and amenities. The food which they offer is same as what we eat in our daily life at home but the taste of the food is very awesome. Overall I had a good experience.

Tony Dsouza has done a commendable job in developing a huge property into `a getaway` in the wilderness quite near to Mumbai. The location would not have been easy to discover , if not for Messages from Tony with precise directions..Getting into the entrance , we were met with a small officespace on the right (for check-in) and a few livestock..( later we spied ducks and Turkeys) in the front. Not much of a warm Reception , after speaking to efficient Sunita from booking office in Mira Road. To make a long story short...The huge shed for meals wth cow-dung flooring and the food served by the young well-turned out staff , e.g Sachin and co. plus fare, were top-notch..lots of variety , clean in stainless steel ..., 100 % appealing. The Manager, attentive presentable and pleasantly communicative. With many veg items and fish for lunch , chicken for dinner. , Desserts Duhi halwa and gajjar halwa. Breakfast comprising a feast..Poha, Potato bhaji, egg Bhurji, Misal, chappattis and pau .Well-behaved Hens roam around with their chicks ...cute. Better than dogs and cats. The eating experience was the.BEST PART OF OUR VISIT ! ThE Cabins/Cottages, had TV with all the channels , plus AC. We 3 were at Patil House.. Nice Verandah too....Big room. All Plus points ! But the thick bedcovers in the cupboard had a dusty smell, not fresh at all. On the downside, the room`s decor is appalling. Bright pink wall..gaudy , clashing curtains, loud tasteless unmatching ...Bad. Could have been simple yet tasteful ..to the beholder.. I guess the thicket and interminable trees... rough terrain is appealing to many people ...especially youngsters. But for us its like ` NOT BEING ABLE TO SEE THE WOOD FOR THE TREES. The fish pedicure and manmade waterfall with the little bridge ..though picturesque, is not a `big deal` for Senior Citizens like us. V can`t go down to the water nor climb too many steps. We would have loved to explore and see the Tents and other Cottages to recommend to others, but being a weekend , all were ocuupied, Besides there was no `helper` nor guys to ask... Staff who opened our door and switched on channels ...had no `service with a smile` written on his countenance. Usually we are good `tippers`. But no reason to tip, no training...no ` Do u need anything ? any morning tea...thank u etc... The Swimming pool was empty, not inviting. However ...except for older persons and small kids, this place is ideal for groups of friends, and honeymooners,. Friends and groups of all ages can enjoy among themselves in and around the cabins, and have fun. Having said that...The food and dining experience makes up for any flaws..which I suppose is purely subjective . And of course , Yes its a different experience, in clean unpolluted air , with forest all around...and no vestige of all the other houses or noisy neighbours . Calm and inviting. Nice escapade... A must- visit for the uniqueness of the place !! Aloma Pereira

The place is slightly inside from the main highway, connecting roads are not so great. But the place as such is so calm and lovely. We were a group of 17 people so had a wonderful time. The pool was clean and they have a small water fall with loads of fish to do your pedicure :). Rooms are quite spacious, with nice basic amenities. Food is just about ok, nothing great. Kids would love this place.

This place gives you a proper feel of being in the village. The rooms are neat and clean and well maintained. The property is nicely done up with a nice feel being in the village. They serve all 3 meals as part of the package and the food is typical maharashtrian which was quite tasty.
