The property is good enough but very small....So not many recreational facilities are there....Also rooms don't have TV....Still seeing the location it looks apt for living especially the rooms of better categories like suites and log huts but not the executive rooms....Food is really bad and not much variety is served....Also your dependency on their food is too much as there is not much development nearby.....The service is too good though and that's one part you can bank on.....Especially good for hikers and trekkers

very peaceful place surrounded mu lush green apple trees, it was an amazing experience, it doesn't matter if you are traveling with family or friends or even alone. The rooms are neat and clean & the staff is very hospitable , i was amazed with the food quality as it was upto 5 star mark.

The resort is set amidst the apple belt . You will be surrounded by apple orchards. The staff of the resort are amicable and food is good, especially if you are travelling with small children. It is a great place to spend some quite time .

We visited this place in the first week of September as a group of 5 friends. We wanted a peaceful weekend off and the place absolutely does justice to that notion. The location couldn't have been more beautiful. It's set amidst apple orchards, and to our luck it was plucking season. The wooden cabin which receives you is a beautiful room to enjoy the views and the pine aroma. The lawns are small but nice and the bonfire in the evenings created the perfect setting. The food served is well cooked and of the home cooked type. The staff was very helpful and special mention to Sharma Ji, who took us out for a 8 km hike in the Sarogha forest. His in depth knowledge of the forest is deeply appreciated. Rakesh Kumar was extremely helpful throughout our stay and despite the scanty staff, made sure we were served well. Breakfast lunch n dinner were a buffet setup and food was sumptuous to say the least. There is ample parking space of you land up in your own car and 100 odd steps from the road to the hotel. There are a few other short hikes around but the peace and the quiet is always available for the lazy kinds. What takes away from the whole experience is the lack of proper hospitality setup. Room service is non existent. Rooms are big but not equipped at all. No amenities tea coffee or even a kettle or a bottle of water! The electricity points are laid out at odd places hence the phones need to hang from the charging cables while plugged in! The washrooms are big as well BUT get flooded when one takes a bath! The WC's not well cleaned and the amenities are non existent. No intercoms in rooms as well hence if you need something after 10.. Well you might as well wait for tomorrow! Half the lights in the room did not function and the room floor although wooden and authentic, it would creak even if one person tip toed to the washroom. I would probably come here again until and unless there is a better property to stay at. But the basic comforts of hospitality need to be taken care of here for this place to become 'perfect'!

We were a group of three families with kids. Having stayed at their Sangla property two years back, I was not expecting much from this property, as Sangla is their best property and destination . As we entered the property , we thought, what are we going to do in 3 nights 4 days here. But we were wrong. The area is full of beautiful treks , especially to Hatu peak, church and one small lake. Three nights passed of beautifully amongst nature. The rooms were spacious and clean. Food was homely and delicious. Bonfire at night was enjoyable. Everything is tastefully done. Please avoid overcrowded and expensive Shimla. Go for Banjara Thanedhar
