The owners of this homestay, Prasad and Suma, together with their daughter and nephew made this trip unforgettable. It was amazing to be able to experience Indian life in a real Indian family. The room we were given was very clean (and cleaned daily) and lovingly decorated by the daughter of the house, whose lovely art projects can be seen throughout the house. Every time we came home (after visiting the gorgeous sites around kunjithanny) we would be given the chance to try some new Indian foods (like fresh papaya, tapioca, custard apple and many many more). After tasting the delicious home-made Ginger-pickle, I was even allowed to try to make it there myself to learn how to do it. On one of the days, Prasads nephew, Jayky, came for a visit and agreed to take us to his uncle's house, close to where he grew up. That day was definitely the best day of our trip to Kerala. Since the whole family is incredibly warm and welcoming, we experienced so much that we would otherwise never have been able to experience and we are very thankful for that! We can definitely recommend this homestay!!! On the pictures you can see a river, which is around 5 minutes away from the homestay, as well as a photo from our day trip and a photo of us making the Ginger pickle

We stayed at Dream Homes for a few nights and the owner truly were the nicest people we met in India. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and even helped us with things unrelated to our stay at Dream Homes! Their hospitality and friendliness surpassed all of the other places we stayed at during our 2 week trip. The place is cozy, very clean and beautiful. The area (kunjithanni) is 14km from Munnar town (only 25min away... you don't want to be closer than that). You wont find a better place to stay than Dream Homes and if anything you will probably want to extend your stay once you get there. We did. :)

I have been in Munnar with my family during the first week of March. One of my friends advised me to stay in "Dream Homes" home stay at Kunjchi thanni just 15 Km from Munnar. I felt "Dream Homes" like a home away from Home. The Home stay is situated at the valley of green Hills. The chirp of birds and the music of flowing river are memorable experience. The days spent with Mr. Prasad and his family was exquisite and unforgettable treat for me and my family. Everything, including pleasant cool weather and picturesque scenery was just wonderful and charming. Dr. J. Well.... the first thing comes in to my mind is Prasad uncle's family who just made us feel home every minute of our stay..initially we had a plan of just staying for a day and let we thought to find a resort to stay for another 2 days but the love and care of that sweet family made us extend our stay for 3 days.. our parents really worried about our food in munnar but the food at the home stay was just yummy n real homemade..... hats off to Aunt. i just wish all good to come to the family. and i wish to give some more words to this lovely home stay This home stay is in the middle of lush vegetation and it is an excellent place to spend time with less cost. And, the bedrooms and respective bathrooms were clean and tidy. The rooms were spacious and afforded us wonderful views. It is also a lot of fun to stay with friends. They have four rooms, so if you're traveling with family and friends, it is quite enjoyable to book the whole place. I usually never write reviews, but this place definitely deserves to be known! CHEERS!!!!!
