Eletaria Resort is a well-developed accommodation option located in Vandenmedu, not too far from the Cochin airport and railway station. The resort has Independent and Joint cottages that are designed to perfection, boasting a touch of elegance.
These cottages are designed using indigenously available materials, such as granite, wood, sandstone and tile. Furthermore, these come with all the modern conveniences, like internet facility, TV with 76 channels and 24-hour supply of hot and cold water supply in the attached bathroom. Guests can relish scrumptious food at the well-designed on-site coffee shop named 'The Kada' or spend leisure time at the private lake with fishing facility.
The resort makes arrangements for cycling, camping in tents, river crossing, bamboo rafting, campfire, trekking, elephant riding, tribal village visit, mountain safari in jeep/bike, obstacle crossing and bird watching.
Guests can also spend leisure time at the in-house badminton court, cricket pitch, volleyball court and basketball court.

Connect to the nature
by Dikshu N on March 18, 2017
Have you ever dreamed of living on a tree house? yes, this place is perfect to fulfill that dream. Beautiful place close to nature but slightly remote from the city but who cares if you get to stay on a tree house? Spacious rooms with big balconies and friendly staff. this property has tons of cardamom plantations. The restaurant provides good food. Happy staying!
Close to Nature
by Anand D on February 28, 2017
We stayed there for one night on 25th Feb 2017. I would really recommend this resort to all those who want to stay right in heart of nature..surrounded by beautiful greenery..this resort gives you great experience of staying away from hustle bustle of city life. Our booking was made through online travel company, who booked Standard room for us. I would recommend not to go for Standard room as amenities are below standard. I would recommend to go for Premium rooms as they are amazing..so please cross check. GM of resort upgraded our room to premium room and we were really happy with that. Food was decent, staff was really helpful. I would say that this resort has great potential to become one of the best property in this area..however, it needs some proper maintenance and polishing up..i bet nature lovers will have no issues paying extra but to live right at the heart of nature.. A spoiled expectations
by Deepthy M on February 2, 2017
Where do I start? If you look at the images online and go there with a lot of expectations you are in treat for a shock. It was nothing like what was shown online. The location is good, but the resort is in a bad shape. Cleanliness is nowhere to be seen.Though, the staffs are courteous but lack proper training, uniforms, linguistic skills. Can't comment on the food much as all I ate for three days was just bread and butter as I am too much of a neat freak. We were given a jeep with a driver, Chandran ( i hope I got his name correct), he was the only sunshine of the disappointing weekend we had at Thekkady. He is a gem of a person and was extremely helpful. We were very lucky to have met him during the trip. To wrap up, resort was an utter disappointment. Lesson to self, book a decent 4 star or 5 star next time, even though it will cost some additional bucks.
Only God may help the visiters.

Location was very nice. But the experience was terrible. Below average room, dry taps, poor room service, below average food and what can i say more now. Not advisable to choose this resort. If possible try in Thekkady.
Below Par experience
by ArvindVenkataraman on January 17, 2017
would suggest to avoid the treehouse. Its close to pathetic, The lodge does not have any space to move.. Its really untidy and seems like the entire structure will fall any minute. Food is also not that great. Spread is as good as what you get at home. Ambience in and around the hotel is beautiful and its located bang in the center of mother nature. Staff is ok most of them do not understand english or hindi which makes it very difficult to converse.
