We stayed in a tree house cottage which was really a different experience. The Ambience was amazing. Sounds of birds, the waterfall and the cold wind gave us the feeling of jungle. The view from balcony was beautiful with the view of tea garden. A perfect place to sit and relax with a cup of coffee. Rooms were clean and neat. The food was good and tasty. They also provided some recreational activities. Staffs were friendly. Good service and hospitality. Would definitely visit again.
Horrible experience in an Heavenly location
by JJ1440 on August 31, 2016
Overall Experience was really terrible. Only thing that I din't regret in this hotel was the sitting outside our cottage and enjoying the view. But as we entered the cottage we where flooded with one problem over the other. - Had Food from the hotel restaurant. Menu specifically says 20% hike on every item. Food quality was Ok not satisfactory. -Ayurveda massage by the hotel, again another rip off in the name of massage. Please dont opt for a massage not at all worth it. I wont even call that a massage. -No hot water. Phone chargers started to smoke out and room was filled with burning smell (hotel staff was a witness to it), my friend got an electric shock when he went to unplug from the socket. Light Bulb near the bed just fused up with a loud noise. Well I would describe the whole event was spooky with all lights dimming out. Called complained to the staff and literally they had no idea what to do other than giving excuses. Saying backup generator started, low voltage crap etc......literally we slept without any current from evening 10pm - 7:30 am and we had to call the electrician to say that there was no current. Met the manager in the morning who was well-versed to give excuses for the terrible events after lot of arguments and lame excuses we got a small compensation for all the tragic events. Please it's a budget hotel, dont expect lot of things and be there at your own risk. BE SAFE.
No Electricity, we were the only guests !, a poor use of an amazing location. Manager should be fired !!

I do realize what to expect when you pay 2500 rupees for a room. However out of the 15 hours we stayed , no electricity or hot water was available for the last 12 hours. Meanwhile due to bad voltage our electronic devices were damaged. The manager did not have the courtesy to advice us about the electricity shortage which apparently occurs on a daily basis. They have back up generator which only works for 5 minutes and you need to call them every 5 minutes to please restart it again, so you could at least charge your phone. Toilets were not cleaned well and bed sheets had blood stains on them. They have excellent resources which have not been taken care off. Their staff were good and polite. They were quite surprised to have a visitor even. We checked in at 3:30 PM and they had no cue if we ( the only guests ) had made a booking even. Took them 20 minutes to sort that out. If any of you face any difficulties please remember that this is a budget hotel do not expect anything other than good ambiance. The Manager lies to you and will bluff you a lot of stories to cover up his mistakes. He makes excuses for his poor service on cost of the room. Clearly a very lazy man and unprofessional. I hate to complain about someones job, but here i have taken time out to write the above ordeal only because this has been my worst experience of stay ever. I hope the manager is replaced on urgent basis ( i was told by the staff that he is the GM , which he denied to us ) Even though he lives on the same premises he would not agree to meet us or even attend our calls to hear out our complains. Dont even ask about the pool. It is just for show. Never cleaned. After all like the manager said to me , it is a budget hotel.....
Scary night ,no electricity, disasters rooms in a jungle
by gargsakshi21 on August 20, 2016
We stayed here for one night. We booked tree house, that is isolated in the resort near reception. Reception closed at 9 o'clock. There was no electricity and you can't complaint to anyone as reception is already closed. Most importantly extension was not working. There was no hot water. Room was not up-to mark. In tree house all furniture are old. And this place is 27 km away from thekkedy . Book this place only if u want a horror night. I suggest this place is not for families. Swimming pool was not working. It's the under construction property.
