I am from Andhra state and booked hotel for June 6th night and my stay here was pleasant. Also I have to praise the Supervisor, Yasin for helping me well also in arranging my extra few hours stay aling with his hospitality. I recommend staying in this hotel. Book if possible directly with this hotel than using third party websites to save some money. Narendra Pothineni

Unbelievably a stone's throw away from the temple. Hotel has a group of very friendly and trustworthy management and staff. Very clean rooms. Good restaurant (Rudrash) which served good ala carte dishes. Hotel Arunachala will and has always been the .

This is a new hotel in the thiruvanamalai temple district. Despite the location is far from the temple (approx 3-5km) we still choose this as its a new property. Check in was smooth & the room was clean, big & spacious. The breakfast served was tasty too.

The reception, restaurant and 2nd floor of this hotel are snazzy and showy because they're recently renovated. But do not be fooled. If you get stuck with a room on the 1st floor, be prepared to be utterly disappointed and honestly, pretty enraged. The room was dingy. The sheets were stained. The once white pillow covers were brown. The mattress was flat and uncomfortable. The 'quilts' were rough and scratchy, and we asked for bedsheets instead - which were rat eaten and torn. They don't even provide a bottle of water (they charge you for it when requested) in their rooms which is pretty standard these days. Extremely, unjustifiably overpriced (probably due to the proximity to the temple) but that is absolutely no excuse to provide such terrible accommodation and service. If you're going to renovate and revise your prices every year, then it might just be a good idea to upgrade your services. This is utterly shameful and you guys don't deserve any of the accolades you have so proudly displayed in your reception. Will definitely not recommended this hotel to anybody, and will never stay here again.

The location of the Hotel is exactly opposite of the temple. We were lucky to get a room from where we can see the main temple and also the divine mountain. it was a truly bliss. we stayed there for 2 days but we cant restrain ourself to visit the temple every now and then. we got up in the morning after hearing the conch sound. and then had a glimpse of hill . it was covered with clouds and truly can feel the divine presence there. Now abt the hotel. As mentioned earlier, the hotel is located just infront of the temple. so, you can hear the divine songs, chantings from ur room itself. Just below the hotel, there is a good restaurant with good quality foods. The hotel staffs are good and very helpful. even though, we can hardly speak tamil but they tried their best to explain the facilities of the hotel. The rooms are spacious and very clean. we tried to book online but the price was high and thus we called the hotel frontdesk and luckily got the rooms at a reasonable low rate. overall, it was a short and sweet trip to Sri Arunachaleshwara temple and the hotel
