  • *** THIS IS NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL*** Horrible hotel, no internet, no hot water, and unclean.

    by ccolec on

If you like an unclean room, no hot water, no internet, horrible service and staffing dragging furniture across the floors at all hours of the night; then this is the place for you! I would not recommend anyone to stay here... they call themselves a business hotel but they do not have internet besides their lobby. The rooms are not well kept with paint pealing and dirty hand marks all over the walls. The staff here has not been helpful or courteous. They are smug and dont really care if there are issues. At time of check in they told us about their internet issues, or lack there of. But advertised they advertised that they have internet. Im extremely dissatisfied in everything here. This is NOT a four star hotel!

  • Bar is nice and cool

    by daverL9917BJ on

Finding a bar in Thrissur can be a challenge. This one is located below and at the back of the hotel. There are a couple of bars adjacent to one another one is definitely locals and whilst we were happy to stay in that we were ushered next door. Service was fast and the a/c and beer were nice and cool.

  • Good place to stay.

    by surbhat_aravind on

Along with friends stayed for two days, while on the way to shabarimala temple. The hotel was very well maintained and also flexible. Room service was good and quality of food also was good. Overall it's a nice place.

  • Below average, irresponsible service.

    by suriyagayathri on

The hotel is located within a few minutes drive away from the center of the city. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staffs are polite but irresponsible. Read further to know why: a. I stayed in the hotel for three days. There was no Wi-Fi at all. Wi-Fi was available in the restaurant, but not in the room. Even the Wi-Fi name didnt appear in the list of Wi-Fi connections on my devices. I brought this to the attention of the staff. They responded that the Wi-Fi is jammed, but never bothered to fix it. The hotels claim of being a business hotel failed right there. b. The pillow cushions were stinking. I dont think it has been washed since ages. c. The breakfast spread is below average. Ala Carte is expensive. d. The hand shower at the bathroom closet was broken. I told the staff about it, and they did send someone to fix it. But, it broke every day. I had to call them each time to fix it. On the last day, when the staff came to fix it, he dropped a towel (the towel rack is right above the closet) into the closet. When I went to the bathroom, I found the tower soaked inside the toilet. I am sure he noticed it but didnt bother to take it and throw it away. I reported this too to the staff. Otherwise, they would wash it and keep it for use to the next guest. e. Please see the image attached. I took this picture when I had breakfast. This is apparently the Manager of the Hotel, passing his time off, gazing through the restaurant window, stirring and breaking corn flakes with his bare hands kept in the breakfast spread! Should I write more on this?! When I checked out, I told the above concerns to the staff at the reception. They werent apologetic about the inconveniences that I have faced during my stay at their hotel. One of the staffs immediately called the housekeeping and asked them to throw away the towel that was dropped into the closet. The two other staff who were present there just laughed it out! The tagline of the hotel says, a business hotel. Its definitely not; it doesnt have any business standards. No Wi-Fi being a foremost example.

  • Take a room in the top floor facing the road. It gives a good view of houses nestled among coco palms.

by mahessahoo on January 17, 2015

  • Ask for rooms that don't open into the main road for less noise.
